Ciao Grazie — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Food and service was great. HOWEVER the sign on the balcony very clearly said happy hour was from 3 to 6 pm. We asked if we could sit outside, and were told, "absolutely." No mention made that it would be half price if we sat at the bar. Part way through the meal, the waitress asked if I would like another beer. I said - "Is it still Happy Hour?" and she said "Not for beer" - which was so unexpected I didn't really get her point and carried on under the assumption, given the huge sign - that the drinks were happy hour priced. So when we received the bill for full price and no discount on anything we questioned why. We were told that we had to sit at the bar to get happy hour discount!! Bizarre, and no attempt was made to apologize or otherwise make amends. The waitress had several opportunities prior to bringing the bill to point out that happy hour was only for those who sat at the bar. Ciao Grazie in Scottsdale was a delightful dining experience for both adults and kids alike! I tried the Bruschetta Salmon, and it was absolutely delicious – the creamy gorgonzola was the perfect pairing with the smoked salmon, chopped red onions, and capers, creating a fantastic blend of flavors that was fresh and unique.

The kids loved their pepperoni pizza! It had just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and the thin crust was perfectly crispy – definitely a hit for picky eaters. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, and the staff was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a great meal.

Came in a while ago and never got the oppurtunity to leave a review. Food was good, no complaints about it. The service was completely contradicting the foods greatness. I came in and was immediatly bombarded by a stand off ish hostess. I asked her for her name and she said Abby. She was SO passive aggressive and made my family and I very uncomfortable.
