Elkhorn River Coffee Company — Restaurant in Scribner

I was invited to Elkhorn River Coffee Company for lunch and I was very glad I was! What an awesome place! The food is amazing, the staff and owner (I think) are super friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They even have little games on the tables to play while you wait for them to bring the food. That wait, by the way, was minimal, maybe 3 or 4 minutes. If you even kind of like chicken salad, you have to try theirs!! It is WONDERFUL!! It's served on a croissant and it's a good sized portion! I took half of it home and ate it for dinner that evening! I stopped here this morning for the first time after living in the town for quite a while I’m just sad I can only give it 5 stars, this business deserves way more. I ordered a Carmel Nut Mocha absolutely delicious, it definitely worth the stop, I am so glad I don’t have to bypass my old favorite craft coffee shop to get here as we don’t have one in Scribner but I’ll never visit Starbucks over Elkhorn River Coffee again. Cute little coffee shop! Great breakfast sandwiches and lunch offerings! I have had on a few visits a hot breakfast sandwich...a pastry for breakfast...they offer breads muffins and burritos for breakfast or any time.Their lunch offerings are fantastic! The wraps are fresh n delicious. When they have Chicken salad...DONT MISS IT! I have had many coffees hot and iced at starbucks, scooters and many others...but this shop has it RIGHT!...
