Zane's Original — Restaurant in Seabrook

I would be lying if I said the food was fantastic. New places either make it or don't and my tiny review won't be the thing that shuts it down. When we arrived there was only a gentleman by himself and one small family. We ordered the brisket chili and wanted to split the Come Back burger and Zanes original fries. The brisket chili was brought out to us luke warm. After a couple of bites we flagged the waitress down to see if they could microwave it. Just like another comment stated they didn't have a microwave. I don't own a restaurant, but to me that would be common sense to have a couple. They said they heated it up and brought it back just a tad bit warmer from the time before. FYI chili is known for being hot. The burger arrived next and one of the first things we noticed was the cheese was not melted. Well at this point we know you don't have a microwave so there is no point in asking it to be heated up. Not that you should microwave a burger. The best thing on the plate was the fries. The burger had no seasoning and the sauce and grilled onions didn't save it unfortunately. It's unfortunate with all your good reviews we couldn't leave one, but unfortunately for 35 dollars I'd prefer to go buy groceries and cook at home rather than spend good money for...

Friday first visit, I waited 32 minutes for an overpriced bacon and grilled cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but the waitress said its no problem because they have grilled cheese sandwich on the menu and have plentyof bacon for burgers. After waiting for my 💧 which never came. The people next to me against the wall had been seated 10 minutes b4 my arrival and were also waiting. There appeared to be only one person in the kitchen and a bartender who could have given me water, but no food or water after waiting for 32 minutes or a waitress giving me an update or checking on me I decided to leave and drove to T Bone Tom's and got my exact sandwich in less than 10 minutes and my water instaly, and won't be back to this establishment.

Response to owners about their response the "food was ready to be served 2 minutes after I left tired of waiting "is the worst desperate response from any establishment how do I know what happened after I left? especially claiming I was served 💧 you could claim you delivered the sandwich May I suggest you get your eyes checked and wishing you the best of luck with all of the new restaurants coming to Seabrook.Maybe you should analyze the reason of your empty parking lot again wishing you nothing...

My girlfriend saw this place on a bay area food lovers group. We are always looking to try new places. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I would rate this place a 9.5/10. I had the comeback burger, 2 of the all beef Zane hot dogs, and a piece of chocolate mousse cake to top it all off (I'm a big eater). The burger was flavorful and delicious. The patty of the burger had a great smoked flavor. The hot dogs were very flavorful as well. There are French fries or the option of their homemade potato chips, which I had. Very crisp and salted enough for flavor yet not overly done. The chocolate mousse cake was rich in flavor and very creamy. Great texture and presentation. Highly recommend this place. As for the one star reviews I've seen on this place (talking about the price, food etc)...I know everyone has different tastes etc. As for the prices (some people in the low reviews stated about their prices), I think the prices were more than fair for the quality of food. This is one of those cases of getting what you pay for. If they want cheap, they can go order off the dollar menu at McDonalds. Also, remember that some people just look for stuff to complain about and nitpick everything. Seriously, go check this place out...you won't be...
