This is an older established complete country club in Seattle. I went for the first time to play the golf course. Wow it is beautifully maintained but the terrain is not to my liking. Many holes were severely uphill or severely down hill and had a number of blind shots. Perhaps over the course of a few rounds I'd be less bothered by this but would certainly not consider the facility as a place to take a golf membership. The driving range in particular is into a series of Nets about a hundred and fifty yards from the mat. I prefer grass practiced trees and a 250 yard range. The clubhouse is very nice and drinks after the round on the outside patio were great. Also looked into the swimming pool area. There was a children's wading pool as well as a full-size adult pool that was being used for afternoon swim lessons in Lanes. Again a very nice facility and for those who want to swim and play tennis as well as golf there is no other facility in the area that comes close to this one.    Read moreMy family has a membership here. It is a home away from home. The young kids feel comfortable here and we know it is safe for them to walk around alone. We use the swimming pool a lot in summer (even winter sometimes). We eat a long slow brunch here on Sundays. Views to the valley and sail boats and float planes on Lake Washington are to die for.
