Richards' Dairy Delight — Restaurant in Sebago

Yesterday was my first time trying Richards under new ownership and I was so excited to try it. The customer service was excellent, but the experience feel short to me. Perhaps I caught them on the wrong day. My friend and I went for a nice night out, we are both be vegetarians so our opportunities were limited, but we settled on a few things to share: build your own Mac and cheese bowl, fries and broccoli cheddar soup, yum. It was our turn to order and it turns out they were all out of Mac and cheese and the soup. Bummer. So we ended up with fries and I got ice cream. I tried to order 4 flavors, but they were out of them all. Sigh. I did settle on a flavor that had and got the medium and a pup cup. I have to say that I was impressed with the pup cup as was my pup! My ice cream however, looked so underwhelming in my massive bowl nearly half full where the pup cup with full past the bim. I was really looking forward to my time there, but needless to say we had to go somewhere else to eat and I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon for anything other than a pup cup. 3 stars for a good pup cup...

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat with my family, not anymore. I went here with my two siblings today and we all regretted going. The cheeseburgers were extremely overcooked and tough to chew, onion rings were undercooked, and the bread rolls were cold and dense. The French fries were the only decent part of our meals. The worst part of the experience however was when we ordered our ice cream. My brothers vanilla frappe was the only one that came out alright, my sister also got a vanilla frappe which ended up being mostly milk, and pure liquid. Mine however was the worst. I ordered chocolate soft serve, something pretty simple and ended up being served spoilt ice cream. It smelt rotten and tasted very sour, of everything bad about our experience today, serving a pregnant woman spoilt ice cream had to...

Went there for fried clams. Even asked person taking the order, "How much for the whole fried clams?" Person taking order said the price. We ordered 2 platters. What we got was 2 platters of mushy things that were rounds. Called to tell them that's not what we ordered and that's when they told us they don't have whole fried clams, only clam cakes...more like fried stuffed filling, that's mushy. Why weren't we told when we told , "we don't carry those anymore"? 2. Didn't care for the fried clams cakes. Cakes were too mushy and clams were too rugged.
