Great Vibes, great drinks, AMAZING food and an absolutely wonderful staff. Everyone is so friendly and polite and courteous every time we go. Lauren is our favorite waitress she's very attentive always gets us what we need Super kind, funny and awesome personality. The food is farm-to-table fresh always and it has never disappointed us. There's a convenient boat dock that we utilize and the entire restaurant as a whole has come so far and we are so lucky to have it on our side of the lake. It's our favorite hangout every time we go away 🍻

“SKK” is one of those spots you just keep coming back to. Super friendly staff, family-owned, and you can tell they really care about what they’re doing. The food is always great, and the menu changes just enough to keep things interesting without losing the favorites. It’s perfect in the summer by boat, but honestly, I love going in the off-season too—feels even more like a hidden gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

Had dinner last night & it was the best italian out this way. The food is next level. I think this is my third time here and it always hits! This is a hidden gem but they are always busy, so not so hidden! Only complaint is that its so small & usually there is a wait but...thats because they make some of the best grub in Maine.

Been coming here for years since I moved to the area. It used to remind me of home... The Italian sausage is the best I've found in Maine and it brings back memories of my youth in an Italian-American household/neighborhood in Chicago. This past time though, it felt really off and I didn't feel like I was welcome here.

I ordered a drink at the tiki bar and asked if they took cash out there since I noticed there wasn't a register. The hot shot walking around like he owns the place went off on a political tangent as a response. Uhh what? I asked if you took cash. A simple yes would have been adequate. It certainly made me feel unwelcome and like I wasn't part of the famiglia. He also didn't take my cash after all that and just walked away, so I had to get the other server's attention to pay.

Service is usually slow because they're always slammed, but it was particularly bad this time. I shared a fork for half the meal because there were none at the table and had to ask twice to get one. Some of the food was lukewarm when it should have been hot. The "smash burger" is not a smash burger at all, it's very thick and lacks the iconic crispy and craggy bits that set smash burgers apart from any regular old burger. The new menus are really poorly designed and very difficult to read due to the font, colors, and layout.

Overall, a really disappointing experience from what was once one of my favorite local spots. For a place that prides itself on its Italian roots, I can't help but think that Nonna would disapprove of the hospitality, or...

I hate to even leave this review as I’m a local and have loved Sportsman’s up until this point. I was planning a very small intimate wedding reception. I wanted to use a local restaurant that I loved for it, and that place was Sportsman’s. I reached out to them to set this event up. Everything was going well until I reached out to them with our guests meals 2 weeks before my wedding, as they said they needed 14 days notice for the meals. Come to find out they pulled my event for the date we chose and scheduled some other event. How incredibly disappointing, and unprofessional. Their excuse was that they had not heard from me in 2 weeks and they get a lot of inquiries about private events and most people don’t follow through. However it is up to them as a business owner to be reaching out to ANY inquiry and making sure that they would like to continue through with it. That would have been the professional thing to do. Highly disappointed within this place and their professionalism. I will never be returning or giving them my hard earned money again, as they don’t deserve it what so ever. If you’re looking for a nice beautiful, professional place that goes above and beyond for small events. I recommend choosing Stella’s on the Square in bridgton. It’s a beautiful space They saved me 2 weeks before my wedding! I will not be recommending this place for ANY...

My husband and I ordered the BBQ platter tonight for take out and the quality of the food was incredibly disappointing. The ribs contained a lot of fat and pieces of cartilage, which was completely appalling. It was very evident that they were very low quality ribs and I couldn’t even look at them they were so disgusting. The burnt ends were very dry and over cooked and the chicken was all right but nothing special. We never received the Mac and cheese that was supposed to be included with the platter. The platter now costs 59.00 rather than 49.00 which is listed online. Clearly the food is vastly overpriced and whoever is throwing the food together in the kitchen is doing a lousy job. Someone needs to pay more attention to the food that is being made there, as it is very poor quality and I found it nauseating. We will never order from there again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else. One can get much better food at a chain restaurant than at the Sportman’s Kitchen and Keg. With the prices they are charging there, the food should be amazing and it isn’t...
