I love supporting local businesses and definitely a local steakhouse. The food was fantastic and service was great. Server didn’t skip a beat. The place felt a little crammed but very very clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking and kind of bummed I didn’t try any desert because I was full after my meal.

I didn’t like that they automatically added the gratuity to my bill. I know that I could have added additional gratuity, if I want, but when you automatically add it to my bill, I just feel like I just got strong-armed out of a tip, so, personally, I really dislike that practice. Then again, to be fair, people have a habit of under-tipping or leaving no tip at all and that is completely wrong. I also inquired about the $7.10 fee on my bill that was unexplained. The company they use to process their credit card payment charges like 3% of the bill to use a credit card or debit card. I was also surprised that they didn’t sell alcohol, not sure if it’s regulatory with the town or they just opt out of it, but a nice cool beer with my steak would have been ideal.

WOW! Just WOW! This place is amazing! The atmosphere is superb! To have something like this in a small town is fantastic! Very nice plane where you can dress up or down. The menu has a great variety and reasonable prices. The sweet tea is some of the best around and the strawberry cheesecake was divine! I had the classic ribeye which was cooked perfectly! If I had to critique one thing, it would be that the steak really didn’t have much flavor but the cut was great, it was super tender, and cooked perfectly! I just thew some salt and pepper on it and enjoyed it as is! They have a salad bar that has a great variety on it. It has shredded lettuce which is my favorite! Can’t wait to go back and try something else! They have a brown sugar pork chop that looks and sounds delish! So glad this place has reopened and the owners spared no expenses in making the new building so hospitable! Make plans to go and support...

From the moment we walked in we knew we’d made the right decision as it was a 45 minute drive. I’m a manager at a restaurant in Jackson and had a rare Friday night off so we decided to go out. So glad we did. We were sat immediately and before we could open the menus Madison was there with her smile and attitude. My son is on the spectrum and foods can be a challenge. For instance he loves fries but they have to be plain. Madison said it would t be a problem and sure enough when his tenders came with fries they were not seasoned. That’s a win by itself. The signature ribeye was nearly the most flavorful and tender steak I’ve had outside my own kitchen. I may come see y’all for lunch and if I’m off any Thursday nights I’ll make that drive again.
