Wow, if I could rate this bakery 7 stars, I would! Everything is absolutely delicious and I loved the vast variety of goods they provide. Being an avid traveller, I have tried numerous bakeries around the world and I REALLY mean it when I say Wild Flour has the BEST bread I have ever tasted. They even had delicious vegan cookies and vegan scones, which I did not expect to find at such a remote location. I also bought the Rye Bread and Pumpkin Bread (which had a gingerbread / pumpkin pie flavor, but without the extreme sweetness). When I came around 9:20 AM, the Pumpkin Bread was still warm from the oven and my mom and I could not resist eating the whole thing! It is THAT good. The passion that the bakers make it with really reflects in the taste. The entire staff is so kind and warmhearted and they really make the customer feel welcome. Even though they only had cold apple juice on the menu, they kindly offered to steam it for me after I asked if they had apple cider! Although Wild Flour is quite far coming from the San Francisco Bay Area (1-1.5 hours), it is well worth the drive and you can even make it into a mini road trip on a Sunday, as the road to here is full of beautiful nature. There is even a lovely, peaceful garden in the back, where you can enjoy the food and coffee you buy. I am definitely coming...

A few miles later, I noticed a building on the left with a bunch of cars parked in front of it. I decided to walk into the store, buy something, and ask for directions. To my delight, the store turned out to be Wild Flour Bread, and as soon as I walked in, I knew I was hooked!
I remember sitting there, enjoying a whole Fougasse bread with coffee, and then I bought a few different loaves to take home with me. (Sadly, one of the Fougasses didn’t even make it home!)
From that point on, whenever I was in the area, I made sure to detour to Wild Flour Bread and indulge even more. I started taking friends with me, and we began buying local goods like cheese, tomatoes, and cured meats to enjoy with the bread. Eventually, I had to cut down on my Fougasse intake after almost crossing the line into Fougasse...
