What a GREAT!!!! small town bar!!!! I've only been there a few times. However, the music combined with the crowd on each night is as diverse and interesting as the people each night. I was looking for the small town environment and atmosphere, but I still enjoy the lights and the activities. This place is a gem. A true diamond in the rough. Don't go there looking for service that will hither to your beck and call. Go to let your hair down, sing out loud and meet genuine people. There is NO PRETENSE or expectations, but every night seems to get better. If you want that quick stop after work, the quiet table with your friends where you won't be bothered by Drakar wearing, shirt unbuttoned and "jerly" around the neck, then give it a shot. There is a great music/band collection of local people who have a passion to entertain. There is a staff that seems to enjoy knowing that everyone has been taken care of and you are talked to with old county charm and sincerity. You WILL behave and wait your turn! But everyone is there for the same reason!.......to have a good time. There is a modest food menu. It will satisfy and get you by. Some of the menu items are actually pretty darn good!!! Comfort food. Appropriate food. Keep your balance and composure food. And the dip for the taquitos is to die for. Ask for extra! And be happy to pay for it. Place is great except for the grumpy old disabled man and his rude lady friend hogging the pool table in the back room. My teenage son played a lady on back table who wasn't calling her pockets then told him he needed to. When he lost the game the old man was telling them now get out of here. They put up another set of quarters and they started skipping them and being down right mean when we brought it up( they can't be in main area to play pool after a certain time but adults can). He started being nasty to them telling them after this game get out of here and shooing them away was down right childish. The old man was trying to start a fight with another one our friends in the bathroom. We are having our wedding reception on January 7th from. 5 to 12 the wedding is for Israel Sanchez and Misti Lane we have a band coming in starts at 8 we enjoy this place the owners and bartender are very nice and make some of the best drinks around we are excited celebrating our special day there and plan to have a great time we want to thx the owners for allowing us to having our wedding reception/ dance THERE we are expecting about 50 people est ??
