Mazerella's Upper Crust Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Sellersburg

I usually never leave reviews unless it was a great experience or a terrible one. In this case, it's been absolutely terrible. We order here quite often because it is/was my significant others favorite local pizza place, but they've lost a customer now. We will never attempt to order from here again. It started about a month and a half ago when we had a pizza delivered and when opening the box we saw that it had been smashed and everything was stuck to the inside of the box. I didn't say anything then but then, a couple of weeks later, we ordered a pizza, breadsticks, and a salad...we got 2 salads and zero breadsticks. So, I called and was apologized to and told there would be a $20 credit put on our account and was given the excuse they have been training people or something. The last straw was last night, we tried to call in an order because the man that told us we had a credit towards our next order told us to call in and to make sure we get it, we were told there was no credit so we just told them to scrap the order and we would order from papa John's. We did order from papa johns and got our order. Then 5 minutes after we got our order from papa johns another delivery person was on our porch with an order from mazzerellas, the order that we canceled, so the delivery person left with the mazzerellas order. I don't know what's going on with this place but they really need to get it together. You know it's really bad when my husband says he'll never order from here again because he's loved this place forever and said it was his favorite. Changes need to be made or...

Mazerella's Upper Crust Pizza and Pasta has always held a special place in my heart — it was my dad’s favorite restaurant, and for good reason. The food is always incredible — from the perfectly crisp crust on their pizzas to the fresh, flavorful ingredients that make every bite something special. The staff here have always treated my dad, and our whole family, with genuine kindness and warmth. They never failed to greet him with a smile, remember his favorite order, and make him feel at home. That compassion meant so much to him — and now, even more to me.

Recently, I had Mazerella's Upper Crust Pizza and Pasta delivered to my team at work to thank them for their support after my dad’s passing. Every single person raved about how delicious it was. It reminded me why this restaurant will always be more than just a place to eat — it’s a place that brings comfort, joy, and connection.

I placed an order online at 11:32am for a 46.00 order. It stated an approximate delivery time of 12:21pm. I placed order online due to trying to call order with no phone answered. At 12:36 I called establishment and was told order was enroute. At 1246. I called again. I spoke to a Cameron both times. He called to check on my order. He called back at 12:59 to say driver was 7 minutes away. When I voiced dissatisfaction over all of this I was met with blah blah short staffed blah blah. I'm over it. Then don't waste my time or money. I was also told I should have called instead of online order. Well I would have Cameron but nobody would answer the phone. So I continued to wait the " so called 7 minutes". At 116 the driver pulled in with my order . 2 hours after order placed and almost an hour after food left establishment with driver. I'm sure it was cold. I canceled order....
