You can tell this is a family run restaurant. It's very small and the parking is a bit unusual - however it's the best Mexican food anywhere near Pigeon Forge. Everything is so flavorful and it started with friendly staff and a nice clean, welcoming interior.

Salsa had a nice mixture of cilantro and just a tiny touch of warmth. Guacamole was different with a touch more lemon without the use of sour cream. Queso had a nice amount of spices and was not ruined by adding so much milk.

My daughter had the Arroz con Pollo and wife had Arroz con Camarones - both were excellent and nicely highlighted by the very flavorful Mexican rice. My carnitas were the best I've ever had - and I've had carnitas at probably over a hundred different restaurants. Plenty of spices, the excellent Mexican rice, thick and flavorful refried beans, and some really interesting pico de gallo.

I know they just opened this year- and they are off the main drag - but give it some time, and they will stay packed. Great prices - truly a...

Came in for a birthday lunch... I was hoping to find a diamond in the rough As a local for 25+years- the location has been under renovation for more than a year Driving up; I should have turned around & dealt w traffic to our usual True & Trusted Mex restaurant up on Win. Dunn. (This location does not have any alcohol currently- but we don't drink- so that was NOT an issue) Trash, towels, tossed outside near entrance. The greeter, waitress, server, busser, cleaner, and everything else in between was the SAME person, manning ALL tables - The 'men' stood around. The owner wouldn't even come by to introduce himself even after we asked to talk to him. Salsa was good, chips were warm and good. The visitorsnearbyy didn't eat their food -- paid for ot, then left. In the end- battle the traffic, after spending $50 for sharing 1 plate & 2 appetisers& 2 waters -- not impressed. Maybe when they work as a team & are cleaner- it may get better. I'm hoping so- 'cuz it's out of the main traffic congestion, and COULD ba a diamond -...

Us Texans can be pretty picky about Mexican food (and BBQ) but that's what the wife wanted for supper and I found this place very near where we were staying. It was highly rated and the pictures and prices all looked really good. We were impressed. Chips were good. Salsa was thin but had good flavor and was not too hot, but have a nice residual heat. The queso fundido was excellent. We had enchiladas, burritos and chimichangas. All were very good. The sauce over them was a pleasant surprise. The rice was fine and the refried beans were good. The young man serving us was excellent as well. He kept the glasses full and apologized (unnecessarily in our view, but thoughtful) that we had to wait a few minutes for them to make some more sweet tea, which was excellent by the way. The portion sizes were perfect and the prices were excellent. We will go back, if not this trip, every other trip we...

Don't let the Occupancy Sign that reads, "Maximum Occupancy 46" scare you away from this authentic Mexican Masterpiece of a restaurant. Hands down, this has the be the best Mexican food I have ever tasted and I love Mexican Food. We ordered the Queso Fundido and it was the best queso dip. The chips were thin and crispy. The queso had fresh made chorizo in it and the made it so very good. My wife and I each ordered a Molcajete and we should have shared one! It was so big and mine was still on fire when it came out. They were not overly spicy and were so very flavorful. I have had several Molcajetes and this one outshined all the ones I have had before by far!!! This is a small restaurant that looks like it is in the bottom floor of a house but it is so good!!! Don't miss out on this find. You will not regret stopping by to have some amazing Mexican food.

We got lost and found this place by mistake. It was a happy accidental encounter. What a little gem this place is. We walked in and were immediately hit with that strong mom and pop vibe and kindness. You could instantly tell they put love and passion into their food. I got the recommended house made Sangria. It’s the best Sangria I’d ever had and it was like art! I got the Barria tacos and they were out of this world. My fiancé got chicken tacos and loved them. A little girl, part of their family was excitingly talking about T-Rex’s to her family member. It was so endearing. Love the family vibes. The service was amazing. I hope everyone will stop in and enjoy the incredible food, and kind atmosphere! I can’t imagine an America without our great Mexican friends who are so very rich in culture, food and family!

Will start with the negatives. No military discount. I’ve noticed in the three reviews before me, two legitimately complained about the Salsa. To me it has very good flavor but it is so thin it’s like dipping a chip in tomato juice. My wife and I did bring this up to them in hopes they change it. I’m not sure if it is the brand of tea they use here but mine tasted as if it sat out at room temperature for a long time. It was getting rancid. My wife requested that her salad be put in a separate plate. It did not come the way she requested. Overall the food (especially mine) was very good. The server (Natalia) is new but very kind and helped use try and spruce up their salsa by adding pico. Either way, it was good enough to come back.
