Arni’s Lafayette Shadeland — Restaurant in Shadeland

Once you have it, you'll crave it! Since each Arni's is individually owned, you will have slightly different experiences. The Arni's Jr salad is incredible. We opted for the stromboli and breadsticks with their hot/spicy cheese this time. Very delicious. Loaded with meat, cheese, onions and sauce. Nice to switch it up once in a while. Their pizzas are fantastic as well. The sauce is more of a tomato paste, the cheese, like on the salads, is diced up and makes for a great melt. Their sausage is crumbly, which I like on a pub/tavern style pizza. Now since they are owned individually and each vary a bit, I'd have to say the Crawfordsville and Rensselaer Indiana locations have a better spicy cheese sauce, in my opinion. The price is reasonable and a great value. My goal is to eventually visit all the Arni's across the state! Go, try it, I bet you'll find something unique that...

We love Arni's, have been eating their food since way back when Market Square was the ONLY location. The Shadeland location is not up to standard... we have had great Arni's food, and bad as well, in equal measures. Once, had to tell them to make a new pizza 'cause the one they took out of the oven was burnt toast. Have had subs and strombolis that were barely warm and not done at all. Have had salad orders where the dressing were incorrect. Today, was told "15 minutes" when I phoned the order. They gave me my order at 25 minutes.... when we got it home, the sub was burnt; the bun was black and the meat was dried out. We live too far away to take it back...next time going to inspect it in the store when I pick it up. The staff is always very...

Nice food as always for Arni's, but somehow my sandwich order didnt get "in" and was not made til the others of my party were almost finished. We were there late in the eve, but many others came in for take out orders and got their food before they realized mine wasn't made and mine was one of the first of our parties that was ordered. There were only two employees working by this time at night so there were only two to make this mistake. I was not able to eat all of my sandwich before we left to let them clean up as it was after closing time by the time my party was ready to leave. I love Arni's but wish these people had kept better track...
