A hidden Gem in the woods!
This place claimed to be the "King of Wings" so my wife and I ate a late lunch there today. Walked in noticed a nice bar which was full and to our right was a very intimate atmosphere. The setting was dark and rustic and each table had their own little candle which was nice in setting the mood. Waitress was very quick no later then 2 minutes after sitting down took our drink orders and when she returned took our orders. I ordered 12 wings hot and a cowboy burger just in case I was dissatisfied with the wings.
She brought the wings out and they smelled delicious. These wings are jointed (meaning flats are still attached to the drums). Ripped apart a wing and dived in! Let me tell you what the cook was perfect juicy yet crisp. I was taken aback at first because the sauce seemed a little sweet but that soon faded as I started my second wing. A subtle heat could be felt brewing and these wings were so saucy which I love! Then my burger came out so I had to switch focus and put the wings off to the side because those wings needed a nice cold one to be enjoyed and I was driving so I moved over to my burger. It was good but the pickles didn't have that kick which would of sent the burger over the hill. Fries delicious nice cook and crispy but soft on the inside. All and All great cozy spot highly recommend this hidden gem.

Read moreI had the bowl of clam chowder and ordered the garlic bread to go with it. It was perfection in a bowl ! The garlic bread was delish, crunchy and soft at the same time and complimented the soup very well. I ordered the 13 piece garlic Parmesan wing basket, it seemed a little expensive until they brought it to me. The wings were not just 13 half wings, but 13 full wings with the halves still attached to each other, which was a wonderful surprise! The fries were wonderful and the wings very delicious! There was plenty of sauce on the wings, and they put the celery sticks across the top which made for a pretty presentation. It also came with blue cheese dressing, which I could eat the wings with or without due to them being so tasty. I took half the wings home, and will enjoy them tomorrow. My husband got the buffalo chicken rolls with the spicy sauce, and he really enjoyed I'llthem. Lastly, he got Reese's pie, tasty, rich and dense is how he described it, however, the sauce on the pie didn't taste like Hershey's syrup and it added nothing to the final product. He felt that if it had been Hershey's, it would have been even better. The bathrooms were clean, the staff very friendly, and the ambiance was nice. There's a big fish tank and a fireplace for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant was very busy and the waitress forgot several things, but she rectified it as soon as she was aware of the problems. Overall, a very nice...
Read moreIf you ever wanted to know how many ways you could serve buffalo chicken, this is the place to go! The menu is about half buffalo chicken items and the rest is more traditional sports bar/pub food. We were seated immediately on a Monday for lunch and our order was quickly taken. The place was mildly busy and small groups of bikers (ourselves included) were peppered amongst families and business diners. The background music was a bit eclectic for classic rock. I am a big lover of late 60's and on classic rock, but some of the songs that played I had not heard since the days of rock radio being mainstream. Our food arrived quickly, but my potato soup came out first. It was surprisingly good. When the entrees came out, my fries were barely warm compared to my chicken sandwich that I nearly burned my fingers on while picking it up. Her salad was fresh and thoroughly enjoyed. They have birch beer on tap. I am not sure of the brand, but it was good. It would have been great if it were a hot day out instead of barely hitting 60F. The atmosphere is cozy and it felt something like it was your grandparent's furnished basement back in the day. The building is historic and has been around for 95-96 years, or so I was told. This is a popular spot on 206 and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of alternatives nearby. Parking was more than sufficient and easy to get in and out of with our Harley's. We intend to be...
