The fries were really good. Our service was pretty bad. Multiple mistakes were made and we were understanding, but got no apologies. I ordered a full plate of pasta, our waitress got me a half size, but said she was putting another one in for me to make it a full size and I was fine with it, no big deal. But on my bill which I didn't receive the itemized version of (I had to ask for it once the merchant and customer copies came back and looked too high), she charged me for two half size plates, (an extra ~$7.00) but that's not how I ordered my meal and that wasn't my fault it had to be put in twice as two halves instead of the full one plate I ordered. She also cleared our table of empty salad plates etc. during our meal and took my cup but never asked or offered me my one refill while we still had half of our food left to finish eating. When I asked for my refill she got it but looked annoyed that I asked. I thanked her for everything she brought us and everything she did for our table but still I felt like a nuisance there. My friend had to ask about the soup she ordered as well, as she felt it was also forgotten. My husband's fries (very good btw) were getting cold before she brought us the ketchup I asked for and thought maybe she forgot it so I got up to ask for a bottle myself. My husband liked his steak fajita and said it was good. My pasta and salad were fine, just a normal house salad and pasta. The pasta was slightly too firm. There was a fly landing on our bread so we just ate the pieces that hadn't been landed on. That can happen in the summer with people coming and going so we didn't bother about it. With the card mistake and being overcharged, never was apologized to for her mistake. We had to wait a while for the transaction to be voided and rang up again. With all the forgetfulness and mistakes, I'll be sure to check that my charges got processed correctly. I'm a little disappointed because I hadn't been here to eat in years and was looking...
Read moreHeard wonderful reviews of the food so we thought we would try it. First thing we wanted they no longer sold which was understandable as other restaurants also no longer offered said item. Next 2 people ordered alfredo and one ordered white clam sauce linguine. 30 min. After we ordered were told linguine was ready but were out of alfredo. So 2 ordered ravioli. 3 people finally got their food. Ravioli barely warm. I still have no linguine w/clam sauce. 10 min. Later I am served angel hair pasta with parsley. Asked the server where were the clams. She said in the sauce... no there should be clams in this. And where was yhe linguine? They were out...they had it for the alfredo...what did they do throw that out!? Extremely disappointed. Server said the owners wife would be over to talk to us....nope didn't happen. Server comped our appetizers not my...

My girl and I decided to try JJ's again after our last bad experience just to see if it was just a one time thing. Was not expecting a repeat.
My girl ordered the Alfredo (plain) and added chicken to it for carry out. The menu says there are two different Alfredo's available, the plain and seafood. When we got home and opened the container, it was a seafood Alfredo with chicken. My girl hates seafood so we called JJ's back up and told the woman who took our order. She replied the kitchen was now closed and she told us that we told her we wanted the seafood with chicken added, which is not true. She then told us they can't do anything about it.
We will never eat...
