We just went for breakfast this morning (3/1/2025) after an absence of way too many years. We arrived around 9:30 and the place was hopping. They initially said it would be a 45 minute wait, but it actually turned out to be less than 10 minutes. We were greeted by a very lovely, smiling and upbeat young lady who took us to our table for 2, which was qickly followed by our equally lovely waitress. The food was excellent and the syrup of course was perfect. We enjoyed seeing the young families and couples all sharing large family style tables and enjoying the moment. Quick tip: get there around 10AM after the rush and you should get a table pretty quickly! The ride up to the farm is fun and provides an excuse to drive into the hills that you may not venture into otherwise. If you haven't done it before, please go and treat yourself and your family, if like me you haven't been back in quite sometime, GO because I regret missing past years of treating ourselves to this experience. Read moreIt's one thing if you're racist but are you bad at your job too? You have literally 3 tables in your section. Server asked "what do you want" and that's the only time we saw her. No exaggeration. Server didn't touch back with us at all after taking our order other than dropping off food. We figured maybe she is new and didn't know how to do her job but had no problem checking with the white people right next to us multiple times. We tried getting her attention each time she checked with them and she just ignored us. Only had that first cup of coffee for the whole hour there even though we asked twice for more drinks and had to ask a host for water. To make things worse they had unseasoned and cold food... dry pancakes without any drinks or attentiveness from the server. Literally contemplated drinking syrup which was the only good thing at the table. Tip: if you didn't like us so badly we could've left sooner if you dropped off the check...
Read moreThis place is open seasonally. This Year is from February 26 - April 3, 2022. Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 3 pm. I drove two hours to get here. And today was a snowy day. The drive was absolutely worth the experience. The place was jam packed. We waited about an hour to be seated. While you wait you can tour the sugar house while you wait. I met Lisa there and she explained the process. The food was great too. We had a short stack, mixed berry waffle, combo #2 and Walters favorite. Instead of pancakes we ordered Finnish pancakes. Maaaan those were absolutely wonderful. It's kind of a hybrid between waffles pancakes and eggs. Devine. I highly recommend this place. And also they have farm made maple syrup. They mentioned that they made the batter freshly. It was quite a treat on a snowy day in...
