@Experience Tennessee Gregory’s Beechgrove Country Store and Kitchen is a great place to stop on Highway 41 in Coffee County. Good folks, good food and awesomely decorated on the inside. Experience Tennessee On a sunny Saturday Morning we made our way to Gregory’s Beechgrove Country Store and Kitchen for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so make sure it’s a great meal. Found right off I24 at exit 97 stop in and enjoy a slower pace in this old converted store. Here you can sit back and relax while soaking in the comfortable surroundings. Can you imagine all the weary travelers that have stopped here over the years to fill up their vehicles. The staff is always friendly and quick with the coffee pot. Whatever you choose will be freshly prepared and served with a smile. The Biscuits and Gravy was delicious. We’ve never had a bad meal at Gregory’s. Make plans to go back for catfish night! As we dined we had a few friends come in so it was a great morning. The best way to start a day is a big breakfast and visiting with friends. Make plans to visit Gregory’s in Beechgrove. @Experience Tennessee Just off I24, at Beechgrove exit 97 on Hwy 41 is Gregory’s Beechgrove Country Store & Kitchen. This old country store turned restaurant is a hot place to visit. We were there at breakfast time, they had their regulars and travelers like us who happened upon this gem. The outside hints of the past this store once had, where gas pumps were now is a sitting area. The roar of the interstate, and traffic on 41 reminds us that taking the road less traveled is the best way to connect to a much more relaxed lifestyle. This is one of those places that you want to sit down and soak up the atmosphere and visit with the people. The staff was busy but attentive to everyone who came in the door. The ring of the bell alerted all that a new arrival had just walked in. The old floors creak and the chalkboard menu grabs your attention. This isn’t just an old store, this is a special place. This beautiful area is not too far from Manchester, Wartrace, and Murfreesboro. Close enough, yet far enough away. Get off the main roads, when you see something interesting, stop. You never know what treasures you will find. Gregory’s is that treasure today. Go visit them and sit a spell, enjoy the good food and kind people. #ExperienceTN #NashvillesBigBackYard #Tennessee #coffeecountytn #sctta #tnvacation #beechgrovetn

My husband and I have had 2 totally different experiences in this restaurant. The first experience was, we went to get breakfast. We got there right about 10:15. We were told that, because they were getting ready to start lunch, they could not make us breakfast. It was disappointing to say the least since we did not want a burger or fries, we wanted breakfast. And to watch many plates still coming off the line with BREAKFAST items. We were flabbergasted. But because we wanted to try to feel the place out and support local, we stayed. Not the same though because we did it out of convenience at that point because we were hungry and didn't want to change locations. Last week, we decided to give it one more try. We actually stopped for lunch. They were very short staffed and the place was full up. 1 young lady in the kitchen and 1 up front. They worked in perfect harmony. As soon as we entered, we were told how long the wait would be. We accepted the wait as did everyone else. For lunch, we were there about an hour. It almost seemed as if their moves were rehearsed in some way. These 2 young ladies did an amazing job. Going above and beyond what their job duties were. With as busy as they were, they made sure I knew the difference between prepackaged ranch and house ranch for my wings. It's the little things!! We left with a smile on our faces and a very full belly. If I had 1 suggestion to make the two experiences equal and remarkable for the right reason, would be, since you are only open til 2, why not offer a " limited" breakfast menu past 10:30? I'm not saying full menu. But if I want an egg, toast and side of bacon, I can't order it past 10:30 per our experience. But I can order a BLT for lunch?? Make it make sense..please No matter if the review is positive or negative, I still support your efforts in helping your family and community. I do want to give the Friday night fish fry a go since I've heard it phenomenal. Thank you for your time. As always..Chris Oh, and a piece of...

What a hole-in-the-wall find in the middle of nowhere! On our way back from a basketball tournament, we left another restaurant because they were too packed to sit and wait for a table and Google maps showed very few options in the area as it was a small rural town. However, we ended up finding this place on the map right off the interstate. The outside wasn't very appealing but that never stops me from trying places out as looks can be deceiving. As such with this place, the food and service were excellent. We were the only patrons there for most of the time, minus two walks inside for to-go orders. We ordered a chicken sandwich with okra, chicken tenders and fries, and Fish and chips. All of our food was made fresh to order and was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was a tiny store near the register for merch and local made products that were tempting to purchase but we ended up settling on a butterfinger cake which was pure perfection. My sister-in-law makes this every year and I must say, this one was better! My only knock on the place was the bathroom. While the entire establishment had a rural rustic feel to it(repurposed dated materials, similar to Cracker Barrel) the bathroom was in poor condition. The door only locked from the outside rather than the inside so I had to stand guard while my daughter went in. The walls were uniquely repaired in a hodge podge sort of way, and the back of the toilet was barely attached to the wall, so when I flushed, the toilet turned to the side with the handle ..lol. We didn't stop here for the restroom specifically so I didn't consider that in the rating as again, the food and service were excellent. Prompt service, friendly staff and yummy food. What more could...

This morning my wife and I stopped by for breakfast and sat down in one of the booths near the windows. There were two other booths with people, the rest were empty. A lady passed by us with a case of water going to a storeroom I presume. Not looking at us she went about her business. A lady at the cash register looked over at us about 3 or 4 times but no action. We waited about ten minutes but no service or even acknowledgement. I never walk out of a restaurant for poor service or food but this was a first for us. We have eaten there before and have had good food and passable service. I can understand if they were super busy, but not if there were minimal customers. Don't know when we...
