Food was okay nothing really stuck out but I only had a hamburger I ordered onion rings and they were out. The menu wasn't too clear (not the paper menu sitting on the table) the protein and side menu. I didnt like if you ordered from the salad bar you can only go ONCE but I guess I can understand why. I just thought that was silly.

I'm response to the response I wasn't talking about the paper menu that is provided i was talking about the specials you guys offer daily or weekly all it says is protein i believe and you have to figure out what that is... its the little piece of paper above the salt sugar areavon the table. Its not really clear you have to ask the server or go to the register and see it there. Also i know sides dont come with the meal I never said it did which that is a shame but hey I get it. I ordered the onion rings and my guess ordered them as well and then we were told there is only enough for one order and then got told a few minutes later ypu guys don't have both orders do we want frys. Stuff seemed good just what I ordered (the burger with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms could have been better. I paid extra for this items which wasn't bad price to add them. You big paper menu is clear on the salad bar. Fyi i didn't hate the place i wish you guys were open longer in the day or even at night because this town needs more quality sit down places to eat at during...

I went for breakfast. It was a down-home type of meal. Ruth's breakfast was my order. If you make it your namesake, it should be your signature dish.

There were choices. Several choices. I started with asking for over-easy eggs. They came out perfectly. I chose the home fries over the hashbrowns. They were just what you would expect. (In a good way.) Biscuits and gravy were chosen over the grits and toast. I am a grits lover. However, I also love Biscuits. The biscuits are a yeast type. Not my favorite. Yet, putting personal preference aside, they were very well prepared for that style. Very light and airy. Finally, the chosen meat was chicken fried steak. Which was a fried meat lovers delight.

Coffee and water were my beverages. The coffee was not coffee house good, but it was decent enough for me to get a refill.

Service was excellent. Food service was quick enough, for sure. Long enough to know it was being prepared and short enough that I did not wonder if it was forgotten. There was more food than I should have eaten. (I did stop before making myself completely miserable)

Price was around $18 before tip. It was a rather large breakfast. I will be going back. Next time I will get a...

Ordered my order on door dash and Ruth calls stating nothing I just ordered open faced bake potato slaw roll mac n cheese was available so we switched it out for a cheeseburger atw no mayo 1/2 ff and 1/2 onion rings and a piece of chess pie...wasn't happy but stuff happens and she did call... Once my order got here there was 4 onion rings some 1/2 cooked fries mayo on the burger and no pie...Paid $16.78 price for original order and got cheaper meal and with the missing items which if I had gotten it all would have been a cheaper price. None of this upset me but when I called to explain she at first was nice but never apologized and did offer to remake the burger but when I said No that's ok she was like we can bring it and I again said No and was gonna explain my lunch is over so it would be wasted but she hung up in my face...I order here at least 3 to 4 times a week every week and to say I'm shocked an owner would actually hang up in a customers face who wasn't even yelling and being very polite...I get 30 mins for lunch so it would have been wasted and if she would have not hung up on me she would know this. I got ripped off...
