China Express — Restaurant in Shell Creek Segment

I avoided this place like the plague because I've never been to a restaurant that served food buffet style and it was good.

My co-worker sold me on trying the food here and unfortunately this restaurant was no exception.

I got the honey chicken, mushroom chicken, and sesame chicken with a side of rice.

The honey chicken was really good but because it's doused in sugar.

The mushroom chicken was okay. Reminded me of gravy.

The sesame chicken, was disgusting. I couldn't even finish it. It had no flavor and the chicken was very gummy.

The rice was the nastiest rice I've ever had in my life. The rice was very mushy for some odd reason. Couldn't finish it either.

I placed an order to go online, picked it up and went home to eat. The Rangoon’s had some kind of fake meat inside. What I ordered was supposed to be comparable to general chicken but was 90% celery and carrots with a lot of peanuts. The fried chicken pieces inside the dish contained very little meat and 90% chicken fat. We stopped for a quick bite for dinner and were surprised at the generous portions and affordable prices. The food tasted great: we had standard fried rice with sesame chicken, beef and broccoli and milk tea. The gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and accommodating.
