Steel City Sports Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Shenango Township

Went at opening time at 4pm tonight - when there was only 4 other cars in the parking lot. Came in asked to be seated outside since it was a nice day immediately was told by the waitress that she’ll get to us when she can get to us since she has 2 other table to deal with. Was caught a little off guard since it was not busy at all but ok, let that go for a little bit. Drinks came out then had to wait another 20 mins for her to come take our food order after that my husband asked for a refill on his drink and after the refill and food which took 30 mins and it was just fried food..never saw her again for over 50 mins. Got to the point my husband had to go in and see what happened and ask for check since we had to be somewhere. She told my husband that she was too busy with her other tables and forgot that we were even out there.. I understand sometimes things get outta hand but sometimes it’s too much. At the end of the day we’re customers like everyone else all I ask is for a check in every once in awhile and then to tell us she’ll get to us when she gets to us?? Not to mention our fried food was burnt and super greasy. I think the fryer oil needed changed. unfortunately might be awhile till...

If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would. We had ordered Nachos, wings and a burger. It took at least 20 minutes for our food to come out. After everyone else's food was brought out I was told they dropped my burger... Fine I know it happens. The issue I have is it probably took another 20 minutes and for the waiter to come back twice to say they're working on it... A burger doesnt take that long to make. I told him the second time he came back to forget about it. I didnt want to make the people I was with wait for me to finish and lets be honest I wasnt going to be paying for a burger that I had to wait 40 minutes for. But that wasnt even what I have an issue with. At the end of the meal when my friends asked for the check he brought me a check for $2.65 for the diet pepsi I had!! This just blew my mind. First I dont get my food in a reasonable amount of time but now I have to pay for a drink! I will NEVER be going back to this restaurant and wouldnt recommend it to...

Have been there six times and the food and service have been good. Was there tonight 1/27 at 6 pm and had Alva S as our server. We were told to sit anywhere when we walked in and then asked rudely by her to move to a smaller table when there was only a couple tables to choose from that were all very close together due to setting up for a band later tonight. Her sarcasm and rudeness was more evident every time she opened her mouth. Didn’t see Greg before we left after only having a beer to go to a restaurant with much better service.

Will think twice about going back and that’s a shame. I think Greg has done a great job with the restaurant to date. It’s a shame there are not better servers looking for work that could make the experience better than what we received tonight from Alva. She was as bad as it gets.
