We had lunch here around 1:30 p.m. The interior is "up north" cute, and is bigger than it looks on the inside with a lot of tables available. They serve alcohol--liquor, wine and beer--and offer some good Michigan-brewed beers too. The menu offers appetizers, salads, lunch sandwiches, dinners and several types of pizza. My husband ordered a small gluten-free pizza, I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza, and we also shared a chef's salad. The food was totally delicious. Their BBQ sauce is super tasty! This place is in the middle of now-where, but every time I go there it is pretty busy, which tell one something. The food there is simply awesome. The dinning room is big enough to to handle a lot of people, so we have never had a problem getting seated right away. I have personally had their pizza and chicken and rate those items as some of the best I've ever had. They also have a lot of other foods available too and everything I've seen eaten was raved about. Best food around. Might also be the only place around. We've been going to this place for years and it's always been great.
Once in awhile they will get held up with pizza and the kitchen will slow down. Last time we went there our pizza got missed somehow and we ended up sitting there foodless while the rest of our party ate.
These mistakes happen, especially when you have a big table and everyone orders a pizza. Why 5 stars? Because they eventually got us our pizza and didn't even charge us for it.
