2 go Hibachi & Sushi — Restaurant in Sherman

The first experience wasn't terrible, and the cheaper 5 dollar rolls were really good, along with the steak and shrimp teppenyaki. However, the rainbow roll we got and the tuna nigiri, the tuna, was a little chewy. It didn't have a bad taste and was a beautiful color. However, tuna should not be chewy it should almost melt in your mouth. I do understand this is a food truck, but if you're going to serve it, the quality has to be good or be prepared to receive criticism. I am going to try this place again to give them another chance, and if it is better, I will have absolutely no problem changing this to 5 stars. The only reason I'm so critical of my review is because although it's a food truck, it's still not cheap. Well, it's worth the price if it's super fresh next time. Would love to change my review to 5 stars, but I will have to wait and see how they do the second time around. I’m not entirely sure what they’ve got going on over there but my lord is it delicious! I have never had a single complaint! We’ve ordered in 3 times and it gets better every single time! From the yum yum sauce to the sushi to the egg rolls…the tempura! The rice I could live off of! The veggies in the hibachi I live for! I’m just going to go curl up under the counter and live my best life! Also and probably the best thing…it’s affordable! We have a family of six and it never breaks the bank to eat here! If I could rate this 100, I would rate it 110! Keep doing your thang 2Go and I’ll keep giving...

Word of mouth must be spreading fast because this place has a line. A coworker suggested I try the shrimp and steak hibachi and the California roll sushi. So that's exactly what I got. The California roll was only $5 and it tasted fresh 👍 The hibachi came with some sweet and buttery sauce and was also very delicious. I love that they include fresh zucchini in the stir-fry. The giant portion was both lunch and dinner- great bang for your buck! Will definitely go back to try more items...
