Drove from Columbus Mississippi fellowship, to tell the truth I didn't have a good experience the last 2 times I've come here, and the prices went up 🤔 if you are going to raise the prices raise the quality of the food, 1st I don't really like cat fish unless I make it for this very reason people in our party said the fish tasted like mud, being from California I didn't know what that meant but I so now, also the shrimp tasted mushy like over cooked pasta, basically it's farm raised, and was horrible, the chicken leg 🍗 look the size of a turkey leg and was not completely cooked so I didn't eat that either, the salad bar was sub par, not enough selection and only ice berg lettuce, the dessert area ran out of spoons, the lemon aid tasted yucky shall I go on yes for the amount you are bringing in there should not be tape on the glass door that is broken, the ceilings should not look like this. And why are they always running out of food. #demeirjonez if you don't know me by now you will I give honest reviews on all businesses I visit price 18.99

Cravin Catfish is a great place to visit for some fried catfish and all of the sides. Everything on the buffet is hot and fresh. We had catfish filets and whole, fried okra, fries, gumbo, dumplings, corn on the cob, fried green tomatoes, shrimp, blackberry cobbler with ice cream, green beans, sweet potato casserole, Cravin potatoes, rolls, blackened fish, onion rings, and hush puppies. Everything was great with the exception of the shrimp and the blackened fish. The boiled shrimps’ texture seemed off, kind of grainy. The blackened fish just didn’t have a great flavor. The fried green tomatoes, Hushpuppies, fried catfish, and the fried okra were the stars of the show! The cost is around $18 per adult. The waitress was very attentive. This place will hold very large groups. Try it out! The one downside is the ice cream station. It’s not real sanitary. Little kids were scooping out their own that were too small to even reach down into the cooler good. They do have a sign up saying kids must be accompanied by an adult. It doesn’t happen.

I've been going there for years and the food and service has been excellent until tonight. Let me start with the service or the lack there of... The waitress came to the table after we were seated and took our drink order. She only came back one time to refill 2 of the 4 drinks. She passed our table several other times without stopping. But the final straw for me was the food. The whole catfish was grossly greasy. The meatloaf was an unseasoned ground beef with a sweet ketchup topping. The Mac and cheese was straight out of the can and you could tell it. The tenderloin had a good flavor but was so dry that you couldn't hardly chew it. Baked chicken was half done and pink on the inside. Fried chicken tasted stale and was also greasy. The butter and sugar rolls were hard as a rock on the top. The first batch of French fries were really good. The second cold, greasy, soggy, and no flavor. However the salad bar was great and fresh. A real shame that food buffet was the total opposite!! There was 4 in my party, 3 were repeat customers and 1 first timer. After a few bites the 3 of us all said "wow the food quality is way below before". The bill for 2 adults was $29 and change. They have went up on their price and bottomed out on the quality. This is a disappointment and a real shame. I used to look forward to the opportunity to eat there. It's a 45 minute drive there. I wouldn't walk across the road to eat there for free now. They have lost 3 long time customers and 1 potential return customer! Shame on you...

Went here this past Saturday night. Line was literally out the front door to get in and pay. We got through pretty fast. Cashier was very nice. The buffet lines were long but you get through them pretty fast too. All the food was hot, fresh and good. Only thing that could have been better in my opinion as far as food goes, is the banana puddin should be kept cold not on the hot bar with the cobblers. It was good but would have been even better cold. The staff was all nice. The bad thing- like another review said, the place is kind of a dump. Very old and run down. But you're not moving in, you're there for the food. The worst thing- no air conditioning. It was hot as an oven in that place. How do they expect anyone to have a great dining experience in Mississippi in July with no air conditioning? Hopefully they will get it fixed. We sat in the "party room" and it seemed a little cooler in there. And im pretty sure we were sitting with someones birthday party or family reunion, but no one said anything to us lol.... the main dining room was just unbearably hot to sit in and eat. I dont think the price was bad at all considering how expensive food is now days. Its a huge all you can eat buffet plus salad bar plus dessert bar and it includes a refillable drink. We will come back again hopefully with working...

It was ok, If you enjoy fried food and buffet style then it would be enjoyable for you. The service was not very impressive, my husband had to ask for a refill on his drink three times, so he sat most of his meal with no drink. While the waitress was sweet, it didnt do us much good if she kept forgetting us. The individual at the buffet asking if you wanted "hand sanitizer" or gloves really looked like she hated her job and would rather be else where, her attitude was very rude. I get it, it's not glamorous, but it's your job own it, or find something else. The only real friendly face Was the owner he stopped by most tables to make sure people were enjoying their meals. This is a nice practice but the rest of his staff looked done with the world. The food was too greasy for me, but the rest of the party I was with enjoyed it, and they looked to have a variety of home cooked sweets people around me seemed to enjoy. I honestly didnt want to deal with the glove or hand sanitizer lady again. Maybe we were there on an off night. So give it a try and see if your experience...
