We live a little bit down the road from here and we would drive by and see they were planning to open this place before the pandemic and had to wait until restaurants opened back to finally be able to try it. We are foodies and love Mexican food. We stopped in for lunch and I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was tastefully decorated, and very clean. Their customer service was Top notch. They were polite and answered any questions my wife and I had. I love that their ordering is kinda like chipotle where you order and they make the food right in front of you so you can have it just how you like it. I had 3 street tacos (chicken, steak, and Al Pastor) and a side of rice and refried beans. I thought the portions served were perfect, and everything was good. If I had to pick something to be constructive about I’d say the rice was a little drier than I personally like it but that’s a personal preference. My wife got the CT Torta..which she says was great. It as loaded with toppings! I also got a tamale which was a bit larger than your average tamale. It was delicious the put some sour cream and cilantro and chopped onion on top. sooo good. My wife has a bit sweet tooth and went back up and got some dessert to go. She grabbed the ChocoFlan and the Arroz con leches. We plan on eating them tonight, I’m sure it will be good cause everything else we had was great. I definitely will be going back. So glad we have something like this closer to our neck...
Read moreThis place was a very nice surprise! It kinda looks like a chain, decor wise and the way it’s laid out inside but it appears that is isn’t. 😀
It’s more of a fast casual type place than a full service restaurant. Admittedly, I wasn’t expecting a order at the front type place. Not a negative, just not what I had anticipated. The ladies working at the front were very helpful and friendly when I was giving my order and had questions.
The highlight for me by far was the quesa Birria tacos! They were sooooo good!! Fresh, crispy shell, lovely Birria sauce. I really am impressed!
The guac was also good! Salsa was ok, not my favorite. The kids liked their nachos and quesadilla.
The margaritas are served in plastic cups which was a first for me lol. Not my fav marg flavor wise but decent for the price.
I’d say give it a try if in the area. The quesa birria tacos are sooo worth trying! I’d come back if I was in the...
Read moreLet me preface this with the 3-stars is for the service. The petite gal helping me was so unfriendly & I wanted to hurry up & get out of her line to check out.
The food on the other hand is between a 4-5. It’s fresh & authentic. Have I had better? Yes but the flavors, portion sizes & taste was a good.
We are visiting from out of town, read the reviews about this place & completely agree with the other patrons on food except the unfriendly service.
We ordered 3-taco meal , one was carne asada & the other pork & chicken. Chips & dip & a cerveza. Meal was around $44, not bad for portion sizes & drinks. Decor was very nice & the restaurant was clean.
I would try this place out if your looking for decent Mexican food, but don’t expect friendly service.
As a customer I expect to be greeted with a smile & that they are truly happy to have you as...
