One Fourteen Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Sherwood

Just ate an amazing bacon cheeseburger at One Fourteen Bar & Grille. It tasted like a burger straight off the grill from home. I spoke with one of the new owners while he was working on securing the new deck and was informed that none of their food is frozen; all of it is freshly prepared daily. Even their ranch sauce and the batter that they use for their appetizers and chicken. My husband got their Philly cheese melt and was impressed with how tender the meat was. I'm not one for spicy foods, and even though their homemade salsa had a bit of a kick to the aftertaste, I still found myself grabbing another bite. The chips were brought out to us warm, which was an added bonus. I definitely would recommend this place. They show that they care a lot about the safety and satisfaction of their customers....

We decided to try out One Fourteen having heard the food was good. It's very much in the style of a local bar. We were looking for a table to have dinner and it was a bit busy, so we had to watch for a table to open up as tables were first come first served. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, keeping our drinks full and letting us know we could stay and chat even though we were the last group on a Sunday night.

Food came quickly and overall was very tasty. The chicken dinner special on Sunday was well worth the price! The steak sandwich was a slight disappointment since it was ground steak, not a usual piece of sandwich steak. However, the philly sandwich and adult grilled cheese received rave reviews.

We will definitely come back for...

My wife and I have been coming here on Fridays for fish for a while. I don't write reviews normally but tonight was the last straw. We've noticed we've gotten greeted slower and slower every time we go for fish. They do a great job of staffing to be busy so we never understood. Tonight we sat for 10 minutes at the bar and made eye contact with the manager and several bartenders for 10 minutes and never got greeted, offered a drink, or even a simple hey we'll be with you shortly. Several other guests got refills or first rounds around us and we still sat never getting greeted. Sadly I think this is the last time we go...
