Have been here before on the weekend and it was crazy busy. Very nice to come when they are not as busy. This is one of the best supper clubs there is. Food and drink were great. We basically had the restaurant to ourselves. The salad bar is small but there is very good stuff on it. The chocolate pudding might be the best I have ever had on a salad bar. I had the perch with light flaky breading. The potato salad is unique and delicious. The tenderloin was also cooked well. The size of the steak is a very good deal. They butterflied it to make sure it was cooked thoroughly....I would get it cooked whole next time.

First time visiting this establishment. Walked in to a 3/4 full bar and 1/4 tables. Was told 20 min wait. Ordered 2 root beer, not sure what brand they stock but it was..... Interesting. After about 50 min we finally get seated. Salad bar was well stocked with a good variety. We both order a tenderloin. Hers with puff, mine with fries. The steaks were slightly more fatty than we are used to with tenderloin, but flavor was great. The staff was super friendly and attentive. My only real complaint, is the extended wait time. We definitely will be back.

The bar, staff, and salad bar were very good. Exactly what you'd expect from a supper club. The food left a little too much to be desired, though which was the difference between three and four stars.

Loved the small town supper club feel and look. My family stopped in for the first time last night (Friday April 11th) after moving into the area a little over a year ago because of how highly some spoke of this superclub while others said it's gone downhill over the years. Salad bar was great and well stocked. Both the chicken veggie and clam chowder had very little meat in both even after giving it a stir. My tenderloin tips we unevenly cut which is why I assume my medium rare request resulted in some of all the levels of doneness, very bland and under seasoned. Our server never returned to ask how our food was after getting our meal until we were done and wanted the check. I'm not sure what the deal was with the mushrooms and if they were just old or not washed but they had a very off putting flavor and were tossed even after I seasoned my leftovers up today to try and not waste them. Husband's fish meal which I believe was haddock also came to the table bland looking and tasting. Hubby loves a good old fashion and said this was the worst one he's ever had. After dinner I made the comment "well Ill try the burger next time" and he responded with "Im not sure there will be a next time" unfortunately I'm on the same page with him as this visit was extremely...

We have enjoyed dining here for the past 40 years that we have been residents of Sherwood. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our visit on 10/30/24. The drinks seemed to be watered down as they looked very light and had very little taste. My crock of French onion soup was served with blackened cheese on top and no "soup" underneath. The bowl contained a saturated mass of bread and some onions - no liquid to be found. (It was removed from our bill) The salad bar appeared to be missing some items as there was a lot of empty space between the toppings and the dressings. The steamed haddock was adequate but the mixed vegetables were served al dente and were cold very quickly. The broasted chicken was overcooked and very dry - not moist as all. We're wishing the new owners nothing but success with their venture. The Granary was once the best place to dine in the area and we'd love to see it returned to that status. Maybe a little more attention to details would go a long way to...

Wow. What a rotten establishment!! Bartender. Rude as heck. Concentrated on one side of the bar. Not a very good one. Not even welcoming. Servers.. okay. Had to return a plate of tenderloin cooked wrong. Came back after 2 plate made. Almost scared to ask. Sent en email on serve of bartender. This was there response. Will never return Are you interested in applying for a position? Have you been out in the world lately? There isn't exactly an abundance of people applying for part time weekend evening jobs these days. What's ridiculous is that some customers don't realize there is a lack of available workers willing to work on a Saturday evening. We do the best we can to have enough staff just to open the doors. While I apologize for any undue rudeness you might have experienced, from the tone of your email, I'm guessing you probably weren't very sympathetic to the person who actually showed up and was doing their best working...
