Alfredo's Pizza — Restaurant in Shippensburg Township

I’ve ordered food from Alfredo’s 3 times. The first order was for a taco pizza, which was actually pretty good. (Ordered sometime in August 2020)

The second time, I ordered the grilled chicken and broccoli Alfredo. (Ordered sometime in October 2020) The broccoli was definitely undercooked and the chicken were in 1 inch cubes. Pretty sure the chicken was undercooked and it somehow tasted like fish. (Didn’t clean the grill after cooking fish?). That was one of the few times in my life I threw away a meal without finishing it. I had food poisoning later that evening.

My third, and last ever order, was last night (12/21/2020). I ordered a custom Stromboli with extra cheese, onions, ground beef, jalapeños, banana peppers, and pineapple. (I know that I have weird tastes. 😆). This Stromboli was mostly raw onion, jalapeño and banana peppers. I’m a fan of spicy food, but this was simply too much. I would not be surprised if 7 jalapeños were used in my Stromboli. I have attached a photo showing all of the jalapeños, onion, and banana peppers that I removed from the 3 inch strip of Stromboli that can be seen on the right side of the box. Note that those are only the ones I removed. I still left a reasonable amount on what I ate. Plus it was difficult to remove all of the jalapeño seeds. I ended up throwing away the rest of this meal as well. I also spent several hours in the bathroom shortly after eating this meal.

**Just updated this review. Food was great, but waitress never offered to refill our drinks. Even if you pay per drink, at least offer us some more. We would've paid. We were thirsty. Update July 2019: Will not be returning to this place. Food is great, but service is unacceptable. They refused to honor the special that they advertised on the window, saying "you didn't specify before you ordered that you wanted the special." Why would that be an issue unless they make a smaller pizza if you order the special? When asked, she said, "There isn't even a special like that. We don't offer that." The large poster on the window says differently. If no such special exists, poster should be taken down. Gave up, paid full price, took pizzas home, and they didn't give me the correct pizzas. Bad place to have food. We had a party of 10 people. Everybody was served except me. When asked, the cashier was rude and upset because I asked where is my food. A few minutes later he brought the half-size salad and threw it on the table. Never gave me the garlic bread. The bathrooms are not clean. Rude, rude, rude. Not a friendly place where you can have a peaceful descent meal. What stroked me most is the behavior of the cashier not to mention the gestures and faces he made when talking to me. I don't recommend it unless he is the only pizza place within your driving range. It was a mistake having lunch there. I kept low out of respect. But he was very disrespectful.
