It was our first time here, and I think we'll most likely be back! My dad and I came here we were recommended by a friend and we loved it! The food was so good and really authentic. The atmosphere was really cozy and nice and I really enjoyed sitting in there. I can't explain it. You'll just have to go for yourself. We got an enthusiastic greeting as soon as we came in and a table right away. Our server Kayleigh was fantastic! She was very attentive, had great recommendations, and thoughts and was very accommodating and didn't make me feel bad about wanting toppings that would normally go on the burrito on the side or just not wanting them at all. She was on top of it with getting refills and our orders and checked on us regularly and looked like she got along with her other tables just as well! Prices were reasonable, especially considering the portions. It's a bit out of the way of where I usually am, but I wouldn't mind making another trip out this way just to eat here! We both got the beef steak burritos and churros, and I highly recommend both! I don't think you could go wrong with anything here though everything looked so good! Connection out this way isn't the best, but they do have wifi, and honestly, you'll be too focused on your food, and it comes so quick that you probably won't even notice. So yeah, great atmosphere, amazing food, and fantastic staff. So come out for dinner or lunch and ask for Kayleigh and enjoy the vibe and food!

Literally in the middle of nowhere and worth the trip from anywhere. This small family owned restaurant set in a magical 1940s vintage roadside dining hall will have you stunned with the quality and imagination of their food. Pulling from various family members’ backgrounds, this mostly Mexican infuses Korean bbq with Bulgogi Burritos, Korean Galbi style steak, and straight up bibimbop bowls. When one of the fathers is around, pho shows up on the menu. Most importantly, the food is delicious and exceptionally fresh. The bulgogi is some of the best flavored I’ve ever had in Pennsylvania. Chips and salsa homemade of course. There’s a small bar menu consisting of a few beers and absolutely wonderful simple margaritas. Convenient to route 78 in the Hamburg area about 10 minutes from Cabelas, if you’re driving through or you’re in the Lehigh Valley, Reading, Lancaster areas you have to try Rico Casa.

I was lucky to have stopped in on opening day. So excited to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. >Ambience:. Open, dark tones, alot of opportunity for decor >Service:. Wonderful staff, remember it's opening week so everyone is new. Everyone was so nice. >Food:. Delicious, well cooked and seasoned. Flavor was well developed for Day 1. +Mozzarella sticks... fresh mozz and handmade 👌 +Guacamole... made at the table, so fresh and well seasoned. As well as the tortilla chips! Loved it. +Beef Japche... very well cooked, spicy and favored perfectly. +Beef Pho... My favorite, so delicious and flavorful. Top notch! Will be trying this and others again! > Price:. $$ fair and reasonable. When I checked out I was fortunate to have met the owner. He was as excited to be open as we were to have visited. Great addition our area.

Ive updated my review to 5 stars after speaking to Gilberto and addressing the misunderstanding. I will give them another chance.

I really wanted to enjoy Rico Casa as it was recommended by several friends. However, it was overall an incredibly disappointing experience.

Drinks. We ordered 2 Cokes and a glass of water. We got 2 waters and a Coke and had to ask for the additional soda. Chips and salsa - the chips were cold and the salsa generally flavorless. Food. Simple enough. Wife gets a steak burrito and orders a side of rice and beans. I had to give her mine because we didnt receive them when food arrived and had to ask for them.

I ordered chorizo tacos and requested twice to not have cilantro and asked that they add nopales to the tacos. I received chorizo tacos with finely chopped cilantro inside. The cactus was okay I guess but due to their size it was difficult to notice. The tacos were also absolutely covered in chopped onions that were difficult to even begin to remove.

Service. Waitress was very friendly but did not write anything down. Perhaps that was the reason for missing soda, missing rice and beans and the cilantro being in my tacos. She also did not ask if any of the drinks needed a refill.

Also, for a mostly empty restaurant they really rushed us through the meal. She asked if we were ready for the check and I explained we were still eating and did not need the check just yet. I had two tacos left at the time and my wife wasnt even half through her dinner.

Not two minutes later the check is at the table along with a box for the food. Again, very odd to be rushed out of an empty restaurant that was still open for several hours.

I paid no attention to the check as we were still eating and she made it back to our table to remind us that she could take the check at any time. Just a couple minutes later. Are customers not allowed to sit and eat? I think start to finish we were there less than an hour. It was that rushed.

Okay....

We ended up leaving the good we intended to take home there.

Again, I really wanted to like this restaurant as I prefer to support local businesses. The dining room was open, clean and the decorations were nice. What was going to be a simple evening out eating at our own pace turned into a very negative experience.

I also wanted to order additional food to take home but I'd already gotten the check. Was i supposed to open another tab?

Definitely will not return. It was not worth the $50 for...

We called in a take out order and was told 15 minutes and they would call us when it was ready. Exactly 15 minutes later they called so I will give them that! So on point with timing. Well the food has a lot to be spoken of. The spring rolls were super bland, all it that was in it was spring mix and shredded carrots in a rice paper roll. It was not the traditional spring roll with rice noodles, shrimp, mint/basil, and veggies. The pork in the al pastor tacos was so dry it just crumbled to pieces when you touched it. There was not any pineapple pieces on the taco like you would typically find with those tacos. Plus they have it listed on the menu that it comes with mozzarella cheese on it. I asked for that to be omitted because that does not work on traditional Mexican tacos. My husband had the carne asada plate. First off, it came with no onions and no tortillas. The meat was so tough we had a hard time cutting through it, even with a steak knife. I will say the steak had nice flavor though. The rice was super bland. I had the chicken pho, it was decent. Not the best I have had but okay. Definitely was missing the basil and hot sauce for it though. We only live 5 minutes away so it’s not like the food sat long in boxes. Will give it another chance in hopes that they were having a...
