6 West Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Shohola Township

Today September 3rd 2022 I decided to give a local business the benefits of the doubt and ordered $84 dollars worth of food, my expectations were not high being that it was a local bar and the reviews were not that great, we'll let me give warning to anyone that ever decides to make the same mistake made, let's start with my order it consisted of a bacon cheeseburger with fries that was far from a cheeseburger and the amount of fries was less than 10!! Next we ordered two orders of boneless wings and got two orders of bone in wings that tasted like they were left over from yesterday, next my buddy ordered the open faced turkey and it was nothing more than cold cuts from the deli with dry stuffing and old white bread.. completely horrible, next I ordered a godfather steak sandwich with potatoe chips and I'm still trying to find the steak.. plus the chips were nasty. Finally after our order came out we decided to give the bartender a $10 tip and did not even receive a thank you.. people please listen and don't order food from these people because they should be closed or someone else should buy out the business before they are allowed to continue robbing good people...the worst food I ever had and that is...

Disappointing and Unacceptable Racial Discrimination.

I recently visited this bar during my trip to the Poconos, PA, expecting a fun and welcoming atmosphere. However, I encountered a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience due to racial discrimination.

As an Indian visiting the USA, I was shocked by the behavior of the staff at this establishment. Upon entering the bar, the staff were visibly unwelcoming and ignored my presence. It became apparent that my race played a significant role in the staff's decision to not serve me and was later asked to leave the bar.

It is disheartening to witness such blatant discrimination in this day and age, particularly in a diverse country like the United States. I am left with a sense of disappointment and will not be returning to this establishment. I urge the management to take immediate steps to address this issue, educate their staff on the importance of inclusivity, and ensure that all customers are treated with respect...

Would be a great place if they'd comply with the Clean Indoor Air Act. I can't tolerate cigarette smoke. I loved the casual atmosphere, music, dancing, & themed events for New Year's Eve and Halloween. No cover, buffet, activities, fun! Just not fair to customers and employees that are forced to passively ingest cigarette smoke, which is known to cause cancer. 6 West needs to get out of the dark ages. I thought the law was that smoking is not allowed if food is served... ? I really would like to come back & bring my friends for fun times, but the smoking is a huge barrier. Please consider smoke-free nights when there is music & dancing. If food is served, clientele who wish to smoke should have to do so outside. Get with the program 6W....
