Mansetti's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Shoreview

We went here on a suggestion. Its abut a 35 min ride for us so we went sat night. We got there right before 8 30 close time on a sat night...which we thought was a little weird. Our server was Lucy...awesome and very helpful. We ordered the pizza and got their house option. They offer 3 different types of crust. thin..double thin and deep dish. Just know the double thin is basically like a heggies pizza crust if you people from MN have had that. It was not a bad Pizza but if we go back we will try the deep dish option as I think that is more like a nomrmal crust and not a deep deep dish like chitown. We also got the lasagna as they said it was award winning. Its probably our least favorite of the options we had. The sauce and taste of the manoctti was much better. The good thing is they let you do a split between the meat and cheese manacotti. We also got a salad which was ok but pretty good Italian dressing. I am not sure we would rive 35 to 40 min again for this option but if we are ever in the neighborhood again we will try it out 1 more time. The rating would be a 3 and half if they had half stars. Check them out though ...just to explain 3 and half is a good rating from me...thats a little above average. ohhh and I do not want to fail to mention this it was a great price for all the food and drinks we got. The whole thing with tip and a couple beers was 480 bucks. Hell you can pay that for 2 people at mcdonalds nowadays so thats a plus right there. Hell that puts this place at 4 over all...

Wouldn’t let me post two one star reviews, but as previously mentioned the owner is combative and unable to accept facts (terribly done pizza per instructions) or perceive critiques (hence the ill-informed reply to clearly stated issues) Dave should find a new career. If you didn’t make a pizza correctly and it’s causing this much commotion shouldn’t that be a sign that you’re the problem?

Anyways, don’t go here. He’s awful, employees are young, sauce is bland, and if you make any sort adjustment to the pizza it’ll be met with harsh criticism and it WILL go moldy after arguing for so long it won’t matter anymore.

Post is only here to ward anyone off of ever becoming a patron of such a terribly run establishment.

Visited around 7:55 and Mansettis closes @8:30.Place is a little expensive drop $50 on 3 people. Tried the zetti and the dough was a little sticky on the end but hard to tell if it was under done because of the cheese and sauce. Then because of the sticky dough on the zetti i had to be consious of my double crusted pizza and thought it was a little under done, probley 5-7 more mins it would of had the brown Crust instead of white. Would of complained but because of the time thats what i get and i just dindt feal like being a complainer or confrentational. Probley felt rushed because of closing time. I would give them 3 stars but because i had 2 raw dough experiences in 1 sit down thats...
