I pasted by this place a lot. One time I said to myself I got to try this place out. I was amazed to see the variety of foods they had. Got a burger my first time it wasn't bad at all. Could use a bit of seasoning. I checked out the menu and they have 22 piece strip filets. It's only $17 something after taxes $19 something. Comes with fries and hush puppies as well as some awesome tarter sauce. Never had any tarter sauce like it. Fish was great. Staff is friendly. As good as the food is at the price we will most definitely be spending more money with them. Can't wait to try their shrimp and froglegs. First time in the guy running the register had I guess his son there. He sat at a table drawing little pictures and heading tthem to customers. Showed he had a big heart and came from a good family. Very nice people. Oh we called in the order for the fish and it was ready when we got there. If you have thought about trying this play out. Extremely & highly disappointed I expected too much from this place because of the past but I’ll be using johnnys catfish on bert Kouns from now on. I’ve never purchased a large order of fish from anywhere and they didn’t give at least a small thing of tarter sauce to compliment the fish which make customers want to purchase more. When selling something always let the customer know what comes with the order. I had to purchase fries last Minute because it didn’t come with it and i had to go buy tarter from Kroger because none came with it either. Worst food in the USA. Just purchased a $13.00 Buffalo rib fish plate. It was horrible. Plain down right terrible. It's not real buffalo ribs. Very dry a rubbery. Hard as a rock. The flesh of the meat doesn't even look like Buffalo. Had to get do7ble coleslaw due to them not having half the sides they sell. Coleslaw tasted old and as if they added cinnamon for flavor. Down right horrible. Non of their fish is the real deal. Food has no flavor at all. No seasoning. They prices gone up and quality of food is 5 grades below mcdonalds. Save your money.
