I heard GREAT things about this place and was EXCITED to give it a try so I looked online and saw that they opened for lunch at 12pm, great I take my lunch at 12, I'll just run ALL THE WAY OVER TO LAKESHORE DR, which is 15mins away from my job to try some GREAT seafood right...WRONG...I get there and there is a sign on the door that says they aren't opening until 12:30, ok I can wait 15mins since I've already driven ALL THE WAY OVER TO LAKESHORE DR...Well 12:30 rolls around and the doors STILL aren't open, so I call to see if they we're ACTUALLY going to open, and she says, "yes ma'am, in a few minutes"...mind you I'm already 30mins into an hour long lunch break, but I'm here, so I wait ANOTHER 6 to 7 minutes for them to open...Ok cool, I'll just let my job know I'm running late, and I can still eat when I get back, so I go in to order, and was instructed to give them a few minutes to get things going, so I ask about how long, because I'm on my lunch break, and I've been waiting since the POSTED opening time, and she says to me, "well if you can't wait you probably shouldn't order", SAY NO MORE, I WILL NOT BEG SOMEONE TO TAKE MY MONEY! I'm sure the food IS probably good, but the attitude and unprofessionalism of the staff is AUTROCIOUS and just makes me sad because of COURSE I want to support ANY black business, stuff like this just...

This is by far some of THE BEST seafood I've had along with the tropical paradise kool-aid! I have been ordering from this young lady ever since covid hit and she has only gotten better by the day. Some will complain about too much seasoning, but they simply give you the option on getting your sauces on the side. Yes the wait time is a tad bit longer when you get there, but that is explained and expected PRIOR to ordering, because you're getting fresh food, so don't think you're going to get there and leave right off top, she clearly stresses this. There is a good amount served, I couldn't finish in one setting before getting full. The staff is very friendly and you can see them working diligently to accommodate every person waiting. Let me tell you Kim! If u get a bar in this place I'll be here everyday. This is the best boild seafood in Shreveport and I'm willing to put it against any of the competition in the city. This place is always CLEAN. The staff is always pleasant and that's great especially for a small black owned business. I've eaten here several times and it's always consistent with quality and cleanliness.
