Food is average. When this Company first opened (first one I tried was Pines Rd.) it was fantastic. Always gives you extra food over what you order. I've tried 3 or 4 more since then and all have been average. One I paid for extra sauce and didn't get it. (N. Market). One was out of Stuff Shrimp for months, (this is a huge seller for them) and on top of that the Manger was really, really rude to the female worker that worked there. This one is in front of BAFB. The one in the Bossier Mall was out of at least 2 vegtables. I think these places are franchises so even though they should follow most of the rules of the original restaurant (like most McDonald's do), you can clearly tell that this operation does not. The newest one is on Industrial Dr (closest. to my house now). I'm not sure if I want to try it because I'm afraid of being disappointed again. This was one of the best Seafood restaurants when it started out. Really, really great. I hope if you try them you'll get one that makes you want to go back like the...
Read moreSmall casual eatery that you order at window. There was a line of workmen when we arrived odering the burgers & sandwiches. The cashier was efficient & friendly & was surprising how fast service was. We ordered fried fish & shrimp w/fries & red beans. Then shrimp & crab cakes w/cole slaw, & potatoe salad 2 drinks for total $37.xx. The outstanding item was the crabcake. The mince crab was easily seen & was very yummy. The fried fish is not catfish but good. Disappointed with the fried shrimp. They are big & LOOKED delicious in a golden batter only to bite & find they are very very BLAND. The batter was was not seasoned. The shrimp is clean yet absolutely no shrimp flavor. Salt & cocktail sauce would make it edible but were not available. Both coleslaw & potatoes salad swimming in mayo but still tasty. The redbeans & rice was a flat no with beans floating in boil brown water & again NO seasoning. Overall, felt $37 to gigh for hit & miss. Would travel back again only for...
Read moreSO MUCH GOOD FOOD
Were from out of town (Kansas), where giod seafood is RARE, so we were so happy to find this place. The food was AMAZING, the fish was crisp on the outside but fresh and moist on the inside. The shrimp was good, gizzards were great, fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were perfect. The only "problem" wasn't really a problem at all, it was the portion sizes....THE PORTION SIZES WERE HHUUGGEE, they told us that they were "big portions", but dam...they were HUGE. I mean literally 1 meal could feed 2-3 people EASILY. In closing, I DEFINITELY SUGGEST GOING HERE, we are from KANSAS & we joked about driving back just to eat here...
