Placed a call 6:15pm as we were on our way home. When my call was answered I was told food would be ready at 7:40. I said that was fine and then I was asked if I could hold for a minute. It has been 30 minutes and I can hear people in the restaurant. I tried yelling and dialing into the phone but did not get anyone's attention to pick up the phone. Would have loved to order food but kind of hard to do when you are placed on the counter on eternal hold. Problem now is I hungup and trying to call back but now the phone line is busy. Why? Because you still have me on hold! I would suggest that you upgrade your phone system to have at least two lines that ring so you don't miss out on customers trying to place order and your staff forgets and leaves...

Everything else is a la carte and there is no flexibility in making a small substitution. I'd eat there once in a while if I lived in Silver Lake, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again when there are many better options and values in Topeka. Average at best. My wife and I had heard from locals that this was a good restaurant for chinese food. Not so much. Our soup was maybe 10 degrees above room temp, the egg rolls were greasy, the beef and chicken dish tasted and had the same consistency as a run of the mill buffet.
