Let me just say that these ladies (and gents in the kitchen) work their butts off. It’s so rare to see such a small town restaurant with such loyal and dedicated staff - they work so well together and are always hustling. The food is always great - especially the pizza. Always spot on. Chicken wings, salads, awesome burgers and sandwiches. Most likely you won’t be disappointed. All that being said, please be kind to your waitstaff in the busy summer months. It’s hard enough to find decent help, and watching impatient customers playing keno and picking up takeout orders with no tips is just unacceptable. If you ever question why service might be taking longer than expected, checkout how many selfish customers are taking the time of the bartender/server to do a task they usually don’t make any money off of. Also - it’s called a self service machine. Use it! Anyway - love this place and look forward to our next visit.

This place was very busy on a Saturday evening when we stopped here on our way back from Tawas. Although she had many tables, our server Tory was quick with refills and brought out our meals pretty quickly. I had the nachos, my son had the wings and my wife had a crispy chicken sandwich. My nachos were spot on even though they had melted cheese instead of my preferred liquid nacho cheese or queso. The wings had great flavor. My wife said the chicken sandwich was just so-so, as it was just chicken tenders on a bun. The had many TVs with different college football games but most were on the Michigan game. Overall a very enjoyable atmosphere, good food and great service. We'll be back again!

Under new ownership, my first visit for lunch was not impressive. T&C Burger is now the "Blandburger". Ordered Med-Well it was served half Medium, half Medium Rare with no seasoning. The bacon was undercooked too. The bun was some sort of brioche style but too small for the burger. Oh, when the bill came, I saw I was charged $1.50 to have Swiss cheese instead of American cheese. REALLY? The plate used was smaller, apparently to make the food look bigger. The homemade chips were a nice addition. I also ordered a cup of soup for $3.50 that was served only 2/3 full. Meh. Oh, the salt and pepper shakers were both visibly dirty. Not a good first impression of the new owner's effort. Sad.

My family (10 top) and I were sat immediately after calling ahead. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was fresh and delicious. I did have an issue with the lottery machine. Staff were unable to solve the issue for me as the lottery machine is funded by the state of Michigan. However, Lauren (waitress) assisted me by taking down my information and followed up with the restaurant’s lottery rep. She contacted me the next morning, like she said she would, and provided me with a few options to resolve the issue. She went out of her way to provide outstanding customer service. The other two ladies who were running the restaurant were also amazing! They hustled hard and took care of the rest of the fully packed restaurant! Great service, food, and kind...

First time for lunch since the new owners took over. Order the Philly steak sandwich asked if I could have mozzarella cheese instead of the provolone cheese. I was told no. no substitutions. I’m sorry it was only cheese. If it would cost a little more to switch the cheeses I would’ve paid it, but no substitutions were allowed. Also, I asked if the fries were like seasoned fries or just regular fries was told regular fries. Received the fries they had so much salt on them and it looked like a little bit of pepper. I mentioned it to the waitress and said , I can’t have salt. All she said was I’m sorry and walked away. I’m sorry I used to be waitress. I thought the object was to make the customer Happy. I don’t think I’ll be visiting...
