The Wagon Wheel Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Sioux Rapids

Went to the Wagon Wheel tonight for dinner. Food was good and service was iffy. Seemed like out server was annoyed we were there or anytime we asked for something. But the part that upset me was that when we got out bill we decided to add dessert and after we got the bill they added a 20% gratuity to it. Now the sign states that parties of 6 or more would have it added. We had 5. Now since we decided to spend more money buy adding desserts they decided that we should pay a 20% gratuity. When asked why when the sign stated for only parties of 6 or more it was added we were told that since we were spending more money there they added it. So what I'm getting is that the more money you spend here they just assume that you should tip plus the gratuity they already added. Will not be going back for awhile if at all. As a homeowner in this small town you would think that our money being spent there would mean more. We are a large family so when we go places we never expect to spend less than a 100 dollars on a meal so for a resturant like this to treat us like this did not set well. Thanks...

Hickory burger, grilled medium was juicy and delicious Updated review- Pork Belly sandwich and side salad. I sat down for lunch the other day with my Valentine. Susan(waitress) said the lunch special was gone. She was munching on something, so I had to ask if there was samples somewhere that I was missing. She said some pork belly just came out of the oven. I told Susan I had never had pork belly, so she brought me a sample. I ate the sample and put the menu down. There was no need for the menu as this is what I was having for lunch. My boyfriend and I were staying in town for the night and decided to stop here and grab some food and a few drinks. They were very busy and there was only one waitress on the floor, Amber. She did a great job balancing the rush. The food was amazing; I had a wrap and my boyfriend had a burger. Amber was friendly and had a great attitude towards the busy rush. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for drinks...
