La Roca Mexican Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Sissonville

So let's talk about La Roca II (aka, Mexican Top Spot). The food was up to LA Roca standards, which is to say, very good. I had the Chimichangas which is a go-to choice at Mexican places for me. I decided to go with the beef tips this time for thr filling and was not disappointed. Very tinder beef, and full of flavor!

The whole family was fed very quickly, maybe 20 minutes before the food was on the table.

The staff were very friendly and seemed well trained. I am betting here at the beginning they are mixing in staff from the other restaurants in the area, but either way it was impeccable. Glasses were kept full.

The building itself has been completely redone! It looks like a completely different place inside. The decor is reminiscent of the La Rocas in South Ridge, modern and open. It is smaller looking than the other roca restaurants, but this place looks fantastic!

Everyone should come out to see this new place in Sissonville, it will surely bring outsiders in to our town because of the great food, friendly people, and...

A Noble Feast, Nobly Served

Enter this worthy Mexican tavern and find thy spirit lifted! The Salsa is a fiery, nimble sprite, and the Fajitas arrive with a grand, theatrical sizzle—a true drama of spice and aroma! Each dish, from Taco to Enchilada, is a testament to sublime flavour, seasoned with skill most rare.

But I must sing the praises of our gentle server, Kristine! Her grace and diligence are a marvel to behold, delivering our feast with a bright, sincere smile. Truly, she elevates the simple meal to a royal banquet!

The Verdict

Go hence, and taste perfection! Roca's is an Epicurean Encounter, made sweeter by the kind service of Kristine. Five shining stars for this haven of flavour! May their tortillas remain ever...

Arrived waiter came took drink order And food order. 20+ minutes later had to ask another server about drinks . 10 minutes later they came order was wrong. So another 15 minutes pass I ask about food . Lady says I will go check on it. Comes back says the order wasn't placed. So close to 1 hr after arrival and order taken it arrived. Ordered beef enchiladas with beans. About the size of my thumb and about 6 inches long with a bland taste. The waitress mentioned to go boxes to us. I said no we will be here until we finish eating thank you it's not my fault the food was an hour late and I'm not worried about your closing time. Needless to say I won't be back. Food. Tasteless and small...
