Brown Cow Diner — Restaurant in Skiatook

Just passing through town. No sign to state Seat Yourself, No Greeting. Seemed to be understaffed. Servers were having to bus and cash out customers. I took this into consideration before becoming upset with the lack of service. Our server had to do all the above mentioned, so I understood when we had ordered coffees and waters when we first set down. And yet we had still not received above mentioned. I didn't become upset until she brought the coffee pot around to fill patrons emptied mugs. Glanced at us out the shoot, coffee pot branded, but turned towards others. Irritating, but not the final moment. That came shortly when she walked right past us with a side glance and nothing more. Long wait and food that was not fit to eat. The waitress was polite but wore too many hats. It took 15 minutes to take my order due to having to deliver food, clean tables, get the register etc. I ordered a scrambler that came out so dry that I could not eat it. The food was not hot enough as evidenced by the fact that the cheese on the top never melted. While paying for my meal the waitress asked how everything was. I expressed my disappointment and she said sorry and took my money. I tipped her because she was polite and I pitied the fact that she had to run the place herself. I bought food, walked out and put it in my car; I was mindful (parking as far away from the front door possible), I was happy to have take out for the first time all week, so I did a happy dance outside my vehicle.
