Mr. Sams Cafe — Restaurant in Skyline

Yesterday my mom & I chose Mr. Sams for lunch. They took our order & brought us our drinks. We waited.. & we waited.... for well over an hr. I took into consideration the place was very busy. I had my back to the main floor but a friend at our table noticed 3 ,i repeat 3 tables ,that came in AFTER we did had already gotten their food.???. HOW did they miss, if they were observant at all on their jobs, that we had yet to get our food in all that time. 3 tables after us?? Then the waiter asked when we told her "never mind ", did we want her to take our order down.?. Which tells me they had our order back there. I cant help but believe they were intentionally waiting on, possibly, their regular customers first. I found it very rude &, needless to say, wont be back for a while. We came back to Scottsboro & ate Fifty Taters. Got our food 5 mins after ordering. Excellent food. ...

If you’re out in the mountain back country of Alabama and need a good stop to fill up on some food, this is well worth the visit. Tucked away in the little town of Skyline (not in Scottsboro proper as it might seem from the address), this buffet has a great collection of options, tastes really good, and has excellent people staffing it. I walked in 4:35 p.m. There was a family of 4 eating, 2 men eating and then me. The door bell went off when I walked in and sat down in a booth. I saw 1 waitress helping the 2 men with drink refills. I sat for 15 minites(about to leave) when the other waitress finally came to wait on me I got my water drink fairly quick. I then sat for another 12 minutes before I eas able to place my order.
