Smethport Drive In — Restaurant in Smethport

I would love to be able to review this place but I have not been able to try it yet. We moved here about a year ago from another state and found the drive in by accident! Decided to head down last night as the Google listing says open till 10PM. Get there at exactly 9:08 and as soon as we pull in the young ladies sweeping the floor scurries over to the window and begins frantically locking them. Ok no big deal I couldn’t see the sign for the hours anyway and we left. Please correct your hours for this if you are not actually open till 10. Wasted trips are never fun especially when you drove 30 minutes to get here. Disappointing...

Ok so we have a cabin on the outskirts of Smethport. I have beening going there since I was born in 1984. Ever since I can remember we have went to the Drive In for ice cream. Just recently did we start getting lunches there with my kids. Their ice cream has always been great but the food is really good also. I have loved this place for years and years and hopefully it is there for many more to come. The service here is great and the food is Amazing !!! Y personal favorites include the Cheeseburgers, Fries , Banana Splits , Texas hot dogs , Hoagies.... But like I said , everything is amazing. Parking is right in front and you don't have to walk far. There are picnic tables and enough yard on the side to bring your dog out to get much needed stretches if you are driving long distances or just wanna get your dog out :)...
