A&W have the best fries in fast food in my opinion. I’ve been to this location quite a few times and always enjoy it. Today I got the bacon cheeseburger with their papa sauce which is delicious. I also got fries and a 5 piece tenders. The fries this time were warm at best and the tenders too. Neither seemed like they recently came out which is unfortunate. However the fries stayed crispy for a while which is always a plus. The chocolate shake was delicious as it always is. I also forgot to get sauce for the tenders but they also didn’t ask if I wanted any. I think today wasn’t their best day and I was the only one in line but still was waiting a while for food that wasn’t recently fresh. We ordered one double bacon cheeseburger w/onion rings & a root beer, also a fish w/no cheese, onion rings and a diet root beer! We got a double cheeseburger, a fish sandwich with cheese and cold onion rings! When we said something to the restaurant staff about the cheese on the fish sandwich, her comment was, oh well! At that point, we hadn't found the onion rings cold, but knew our order was complete! My friend that ordered the fish can't eat dairy! She's allergic to the protein! Good root beer, needs improvement in the food orders and customer service! Haven’t had a root beer float in probably over two decades. Chose the regular size, was blown away that anyone would be able to finish a large. Anyways; I almost forgot how to put this one down. Had to ask the drive thru person. Decided to just use the straw only. Yoooooooo!!! This was so good. Perfect temp. Perfect amount of soft serve in the root beer 🍺 perfect end to a perfect day! My cooled-off satiated stomach and palette says thanks a whole bunch! Glad I stopped by and ordered this American classic before taking off to my next mission destination city. Thanks A&W Everett!!
