Elk Camp — Restaurant in Snowmass Village

A great "cafeteria" style restaurant found at most ski resorts but this one definitely sets itself apart. It can be accessed by foot traffic year round and you don't need to be snowboarding to appreciate this gem. The beef is locally sourced and grass fed. The interior is clean and modern and offers great views of the slope and it set in a high alpine setting. I had a chicken sandwich while I was here and the meat was perfectly moist. You'll also find entertainment in the area such as a rock climbing wall, alpine coaster as well as three lifts in close proximity. I've been to many ski lodges to grab a bite to eat and this one was the most impressive. The building itself was lovely and I liked the architecture of it. The staff was very friend and answered questions, the cashier used my name during the transaction. I got a slice of pizza and some mac and cheese because I didn't want to spend a ton of money and I was very surprised how good it was. It was quality I would have expected from a restaurant in town. This is a great location if you are looking for a fun place to stay and a fantastic skiable area. These condos are very clean and well-maintained and all the staff is extremely friendly. The elk camp area is one of the best locations in my opinion to ski all day long and this location gives you great and direct access to all of those fine skiing attractions. I certainly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a place to stay and I will return here myself again...
