If you're rolling through Solomon, KS, Nosey Rosey's Bar & Grill is a pitstop you cannot afford to miss. This rustic haven is like the shining star of "The Ride for Hope" poker run. But don’t let the name fool you – the only thing “nosey” about this place is the wafting aroma of sizzling grill goodness that'll have your nostrils doing a happy dance.
Nosey Rosey’s is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, with an ambiance that’s equal parts inviting and relaxing. Think of it as your favorite worn-in leather jacket – unassuming, comfy, and always has your back. Or rather, in this case, your stomach.
The bar & grill selection is like a good old American playlist - all your beloved classics with a few remixes thrown in for good measure. The 'Rosey's Whiskey Creek' is a testament to the beauty of simplicity and tastes like freedom on a bun.
Their drink selection is an exercise in restraint and mastery. You won't find any pretentious concoctions here, just tried-and-true staples served up with a friendly smile and a clink of glasses. It's the kind of place where the beer flows freely, the whiskey is as smooth as the road, and 'mixed drinks' mean you mixed two types of beers together.
But the true standout of Nosey Rosey's is its role in the annual 'Ride for Hope' poker run. The place transforms into a hub of camaraderie, laughter, and goodwill. It's like a big family reunion, but with less awkward small talk and more leather.
The staff is in their element here, managing to keep up with the flurry of activity without ever losing their charm or sense of humor. They'll fill your plates with food, your glasses with beer, and your heart with the warmth of Solomon hospitality.
Visiting Nosey Rosey's during the poker run is a little bit like stepping into a Bruce Springsteen song. You've got the open road, good company, ice-cold drinks, hearty food, and a sense of hope that fills the air. And let's be honest, nothing beats that.
So whether you're a seasoned rider or just passing through, make sure you follow the scent of grilled delights to Nosey Rosey's Bar & Grill. It's not just a pitstop; it's a highlight. A delightful hideaway where good times, great food, and unforgettable memories are always...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Nosey Rosey's in Solomon, Kansas, and I couldn't have been more impressed with the entire experience! This cozy spot exceeded all my expectations with its delightful atmosphere, speedy service, and, most importantly, incredible food.
I decided to try their Pepper Jack Steak Wrap, and it was absolutely wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the pepper jack cheese added the perfect amount of kick. The portion size was also excellent; it was hearty and filling, exactly what you hope for in a wrap.
Speaking of portions, the side salad that came with it was a pleasant surprise. I couldn't believe how big it was -- almost a meal in itself! It was fresh, crisp, and beautifully presented, which showed the kitchen's attention to detail.
But the highlight for me had to be the half order of trash can chicken nachos. When they say "half order," don't be fooled -- it was overwhelmingly great! Loaded with juicy chicken, gooey cheese, and all the right toppings, these nachos were a flavor explosion in every bite. They were the perfect comfort food and made for an amazing appetizer (or even a full meal).
On top of the delicious food, the service was impressively fast and friendly. The staff made sure everything was perfect and checked in regularly without being intrusive. The welcoming atmosphere really added to the experience, making it a place I would gladly return to again and again.
If you find yourself in Solomon, Kansas, I highly recommend stopping by Nosey Rosey's. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal, this place delivers in every way. Five stars all the way!

Read moreThe bar itself is pretty cool there's so much stuff on the walls You don't have enough time in the evening to look at it all. They had karaoke tonight we were there and the people just got up and saying whatever the hell they felt like it They didn't even care if they sounded like a dog howling at the moon. And the people were some of the friendliest that I've met in a while. This small hometown dive bar is a great place to go. (And I mean no offense by calling it...
