Bundy Hill Diner L.L.C — Restaurant in Somerset Township

Ok this is a bittersweet review because my grilled chicken sandwich was REALLY good and the server was very nice... But... I always judge a restaurant by it's bathroom and the bathroom was, um, off putting😬. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like... My husband's burger was excellent, my son's chicken tenders (he liked but hes 8🤷‍♀️🤣) as well as the cheese sticks, had an odd taste. Not sure if it was the breading or old oil maybe? Fries were bland. Also ordered my son a sundae... it took awhile to get it and then when we did, I could see why. The ice cream was freezer burned/old. I would probably eat here again if I go riding at Bundy but I'll know what to stick...

The staff was overwhelmed. The breakfast was good. The presentation was a little sad on the coney dogs and tater tots. BUT, with that being said, the food tastes great. May want to rethink your menu. It's a little too large. For the amount of staff that you have. The time it takes them to make anything is way too long. Having 15 specials on the wall makes it more confusing for the customers. Try thinking about offering maybe three to five specials. I was a chef for 25 years and I felt overwhelmed by all the specials and menu. Otherwise your staff was friendly. The food was good. I like lunches there better but I was there for breakfast, on Sunday, after church. It's a busy place. I know they are usually short staffed. They work as hard as they can. It usually takes 45 minutes for six of us to get our food after we order. I always ask for American cheese on my omelet and got cheddar, and very little of it at that. The toast was barely toasted. The American fries were delicious!!! I'm not a fan of this place but our friends like to go there. I won't order omelets again. The staff is friendly, like I said they do...
