Lou Lou's Smokehouse — Restaurant in Somerset Township

Highly anticipated after a few people told me to try it. Well it was nothing to tell my friends about. Sliced smoked pork sandwich [$8.00] was dry, overcooked and had a burnt not smoked flavor. The hot sausage [$8.50] is not a hot sausage at all its an Italian sausage with spiced onion and green peppers topped with tomato sauce. Lastly their King Dog steak [$9.00] .... where to start well the bun was fresh + , but their homemade hotdog with cheese inside was over spiced dried out and then they add steak and cheese... onions and peppers ... if I just got the steak n cheese I think I would have complimented it but this hotdog was not good, it overpowered the entire sandwich. So here's a bright spot the baked beans weren't to bad... says they have burnt Ends in there but mine was very scarce. I don't like leaving reviews like this but I didn't serve the food... In the restaurant business what you decide to send from your kitchen is on you.... I will obviously give them another go and adjust my comments...

Little food truck, massive flavor.

Saw them down the block from a construction site I was on in Charleroi, PA. Figured, “why not?”. After having their chicken mac… I’ll never be able to think of an answer to “why not?”.

If you see it in your area, get it. The quality and quantity was well worth the $14 price tag.

If they treat their sandwiches like they do this dish, they won’t skimp out on the meat. I mean it is piled on there. The Mac was cooked to a great al dente, and the cheese was creamy and rich.

I can’t wait to get home and destroy the leftovers. It’s probably the only thing getting me through...

If you want some good food look no further! They have arrived with a great menu and food that will keep you coming back as long as your wallet and bank account allow! If I could afford to eat something from here every day they are open I would be stopping by or placing a delivery order while I'm at work. The people are just great people. Very down to earth. I don't know what else to say... I would've posted pictures of the food if it made it home 😅 Give it a try and see for...
