If you haven’t been to Outlook Tavern, you’re seriously missing out. This place nails the trifecta of phenomenal food, cozy atmosphere, and next-level service—so much so that I’m tempted to start calling it my second home (don’t worry, I’ll pay rent in onion rings).
Speaking of onion rings, let’s talk about the pastrami Reuben my server, Adrian, expertly suggested. I took one bite and immediately questioned every other sandwich decision I’ve ever made. Perfectly stacked, bursting with flavor, and paired with those crispy, golden rings of joy—absolute chef’s kiss.
Now, let’s set the scene. Walking in, I was immediately drawn to the fireplace—not because I was cold, but because, let’s be honest, fireplaces have a gravitational pull. You simply must stop and bask in the warmth like a civilized human before carrying on with your meal. Science.
And then there’s Joe Langella, the restaurant manager, who came by, handed me his card, and said, “I don’t want to bug you, but if you need anything, just let me know.” Now that, folks, is the kind of VIP treatment that separates the good spots from the unforgettable ones.
Between Adrian’s top-tier service, Joe’s personal touch, and that heavenly Reuben, Outlook Tavern isn’t just a five-star experience—it’s a “can I give this six?” kind of place. Highly recommend, and I will...
Read moreWhat a wonderful view, fresh air and sunshine plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. We missed the Two Guys in Plaid live entertainment Friday night they were just finishing up when we finished dinner, but will definitely try again. Food wasn't a disappointment but service needs help. It was obvious, but I did ask...our waiters first summer, definitely didn't get much training if any at all. The four of us ordered appetizers, 3 apps came with one dinner, followed within seriously a half a minute by the other three dinners and the last appetizer. We hadn't even begun our chowders yet we were waiting for spoons! I have a feeling our chowders were forgotten under a heat light, and dinners were ready at the same time chowders got delivered. Two of us had fish & chips - excellent with a crisp light batter and important to me, a really good tartar sauce. Salmon was delicious. Rib eye cooked perfectly. Our waiter never even asked if we were interested in dessert or coffee just brought the bill. Nice enough, and engaging young man but timing was way off. Will try it...
Read moreWe’ve driven by this place on several occasions. Being the dead of winter, I had low expectations. The atmosphere is a warm tavern golf feel. A propane fireplace was a warm welcome. They have a large selection of tap beers, which is always a plus to us. Decided to cheat as the menu is pub like (salads looked amazing though... but it was so cold outside). We had the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and the Reuben. Kiddo always had the standard chicken fingers and French fries. All the food was surprisingly great! The mac and cheese was a guilt ridden bowl of flavor. The chef likes his or her job.... I’d you’re in the area pop in and get a bite to eat. The server was new but super attentive. She was being shadowed by another server as well. We will be back. I can’t wait to have a beer on the patio this summer.. with my...
