Beatie's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in South Branch Township

Beatie's far exceeds expectations, and at a very moderate price. The sandwiches in particular were outstanding (the Vista 1561 was awesome), the starters we tried were all good as well. Service was very fast and friendly. Would like to see the the draft beers noted on the beer list (our server was new, and couldn't tell us what was on tap).

Only complaint? Closing at 9pm! Friday night (12/21/18), the place was full, eveeyone enjoying a nice evening out (13 miles away from any other bar or restaurant) and last call is at 9pm. A real downer... and a ton of...

We were at the lodge for a sleep and ski package. We had breakfast at Beatie's. They offered a breakfast buffet that day.

The buffet included: scrambled eggs, hasbrowns, biscuits, gravy, french toast, bacon, sausage, yogurt, granola and fruit. The food was hot and good. This is a nice easy way to fuel up before you hit the slopes for the day.

Location location. If you’re staying at the lodge this is the best option for dinner. The staff is super friendly and the food is fairly good with exception that the pretzel appetizer is very good! One night I had the white fish with green beans in a white wine mushroom sauce. The beans were perfect with a good crunch to them but there was way too much sauce, the fish was good.
