Jack's Place Roscommon — Restaurant in South Branch Township

I have been going to this bar/restaurant for many years. Current owners are simply terrible. Should be out out of business. Service is terrible and food on last visit was NOT EDIBLE. CHARRED HARD TERRIBLE BURGERS THAT WERE RETURNED. it was at one time a nice place to go eat. My father lives near this place so we have been going a lot on Fridays, as my 86 year old father loves fish dinners. The last 3 times have been just terrible. We wait extremely long time just to have one of our orders wrong. Friday we placed an order. After almost an hour with no food we decided to take it and go. A when we asked for our food we were treated very bad. finally our 3 burger dinners and one fish dinner was given to us. got home to find all 3 burgers were so burnt they were charred and just horrible. Not even edible They were taken back. the owner inspected this Horrible food and told my husband. (You people were a pain in the ass ) perhaps because we ordered burgers on fish day (He said don't come back Not that we would ever again. .TO BE TREATED THIS WAY WAS UNACCEPTABLE. Went to eat dinner on Friday night . Service was not good lady who waited on us not very friendly like we where bothering her . Wanted to order pop and a shot soon as we asked for coke she just turned and walk away in mid sentence after she heard coke . After drinks come out asked about nachos because there online menu. Snappy response of we don't have that it's only whats on the menu I gave you . Let me have the 2 peices cod dinner . Seeing that 1/4 of the first page is fish dinners must be good right . No sorry was the worst fish that has been Serviced to me in long time . Not 100% if it was just so over cook that it was like rubber or if was peices that was warmed back in mic or refried. Only could take two bites best part is when waitress came by and just asked if i was done and just grabbed plate and walked off before i could even get more then yes and explain that fish was not good and I could not even eat that. I was dying to try 2 things that I had seen posted on their Facebook page. Crab Rangoon Egg rolls and then their homemade Mac n Cheese. They didn't have either. My fault for visiting here without calling to see what was on the menu first. I tried to order additional things that were on their menu, they didn't have either. Ordered food anyway and waited about 45 minutes. Had a cod sandwich and onion rings. With a black, burnt to a crisp bun that had a shrimp tail stuck into the bottom bun. And the onion rings were already cool and were just oil soaked and gross. My family had okay food. The only thing that was good were the Mac bites and pretzel bites. Them come frozen. Staff seemed new or just didn't have very good customer service. Failed to greet or politely state that they'd be with us soon as we waited for a table to be cleaned off so we could sit.
