Novotny's Country Baked Pizza — Restaurant in South Buffalo Township

This is the first time trying their food and I have to say I'll definitely order again. We had a simple pizza & tots. The cornicione is the first thing I go for because if that as it stands isn't great, the pizza won't be great. I have to say it was delicious & well baked. The slice, with a topping held its shape well when lifted & supported all very well. Our topping was half pepperoni, half bacon; the pepperoni was a bit spicy with a great little punch, it could only have been better if there was a bit of "cupping" and crunchy, dark edges. The bacon was typical bacon, not my topping of choice though it was still good.the only problem was the tots. I'm positive that had it been on site and not delivered they would have been crunchy however they were still good. Overall a good experience & exploring their menu further in the future is something I look forward to when out...

First I'd like to say my family and I order( from the store off of slate lick rd) all the time. I know things happen and orders get messed up ( and have in the past from here. I also work in the food industry) but to say I was less than happy with our meal tonight would be an understatement! Not delivering tonight...no problem we can pick it up. Only to find that one of my kids meals was awful! Burnt Chicken, no cheese in the cheese balls, no sauce on the burger and the onions where supposed to be cooked. Being a NYC pizza person, I am particular about pizza. I don't like Pittsburgh pizza too much, as I have been spoiled rotten by the some of the greatest pizza's in the world in NY/CT/NJ.

That said, call me crazy but I really like their Detroit Pizza! The cheese crusts up on the sides and is oh so good!
