HORRIBLE is the only word that can describe our experience tonight. First the couple we dined with were forgotten about. Others were seated before them and they had to bring it to their attention in order to be seated. After being seated they ordered drinks and never got them. They had to get up and get the hostess to bring drinks. We ordered drinks and an appetizer but no silverware was brought and our waiter disappeared with very few people dining. I finally got up in search of silverware and found it or us while staff just looked at me not bothering to ask if I needed anything. When my husband ordered the filet he told the waiter he wanted it cooked Pittsburgh style, seared on both sides and the middle bought up to temperature. When it arrived he couldn't eat it. It was only seared on one side and the middle was ice cold. When the waiter finally we came back 20 minutes later we told him about it, he smiled the entire time and his only response was, would you like a box for that? Irate can only begin to describe how I felt at that moment. To make matters worse, when we told the female at check out she had nothing to say either. How about I'm sorry you paid $20 for a filet that you couldn't eat?!?! To top the night off, one of the people in our party got sick and threw up before leaving the parking lot. As I ride home with my husband who is starving after paying $75 for our meal, I'm now starting to feel sick. Bottom line is there are allot of great restaurants with great service in the area, don't waste your time or money on this one. If you do, make sure Tristan is not your waiter because he could care less if you are not happy with your meal. If you have to go any where in this area go to Bowens Landing or Lake Bowen Fish Camp. My husband really loved coming here because he could get a filet cooked perfect but in the past Bruce McCarter has been there. Maybe tonight's disaster was because Bruce wasn't there... Whatever the reason something has drastically changed for the worst since...
Read moreI've given this place a great review in the past, and we are frequent patrons. Tonight when we went, you could say; I was a little more than upset, quite frankly... I can't say I'll be back anytime soon. When arriving, there was a wait which can be expected on a Saturday night at 6:30 ish. We put our name in for a party of three. There were only two parties ahead of us that I could see, but you never know. After calling and seating about 5 tables I went to see where we were on the list and benounce to me our name was skipped over 3 times for a party of two, three and four. I proceeded to say something to the owners wife with a comeback of; Oh, that was just a mistake. Like what the **!!!!! No I'm sorry, I dont know what happened, give me one second and I'll get you seated. We got absolutely nothing but short of being ignored. We have never been treated so unimportant and worthless as customers ever. I can pretty much say with 99% confidence this was no accident at all. This was totally on purpose to seat others of the Bowens Landing society that apparently are more worthy...

Came to Carters today to celebrate my nephew going into middle school. We had a party of 4 and we all ordered a variation of steak. I ordered a ribeye medium rare. It came out and I cut into it I would say it was definitely closer to medium well, and a tad tougher than a medium rare steak is or a medium for that matter. However, I’ve never sent a steak back before in my life till today. They were very accommodating and understanding and brought out another steak that was amazing. So I am very sure it was just that cut of steak that was like that I had beforehand. I appreciate the politeness of them so much. I had felt terrible for sending my steak back but I’m very glad I did. I was expecting maybe an attitude or even a bit of a scoff. I didn’t receive that. The staff there seem amazing. They even offered me a dessert on the house for the inconvenience. My nephew received that and said “ THE KEY LIME THERE IS AMAZING! “. Thank you Carter’s Staff for...
