Went to KFC and placed my order, went immediately to the cashier to pay and after few minutes, he gave me my receipt and drink. I waited for a while with my engine running because I was the only one in line and I'm running just about on time for my 12:00 engagement in Columbia, SC. Well, after 20 minutes waiting, the cashier comes and asks me if it's ok to wait 4 minutes for my order (4-piece tender combo). I stated that he should have asked me for that 10 minutes prior. I'm late and I told him to give me whatever was ready. He stayed that the Original Chicken was ready. I said "sure", then he offered the 4-piece. I agreed and then he started working on the machine to try to charge me extra. I stated that I wasn't going to pay extra. I would have taken a 3-piece but not have another transaction in my credit card. He called who I think was the manager. At this time 2 more minutes had passed and the cashier never came back to tell me what they were working on. I left without my money. I'm now driving to my engagement after picking up my wife. In case you wonder why I am typing. I used to love this place. However, I think they changed management because they are now consistently providing bad and worse service. The young cashier stated that it wasn't his fault that they had not put in the order on time because he was talking care of other customers. I'm sure their system needs to be automated. There is no way that in 2025, you have to tell the cook what to put in the microwave. I bet you they are microwaving the food because I won't trust those employees to use open flame. I'm looking at my account and don't see a refund there yet.

Took 15 mins before it was our turn at the window to pay. Waited another 5 min and was asked to pull forward cause the order wasn't done yet. I asked how much longer, and was told it's just about to come up. We pulled forward and waited yet another 15 mins and still no food! I go inside (2 young kids in tow which is what I was trying to avoid) only to see they had the food just sitting there. No apology for taking so long. No offering to do something to make it up. Read moreThis is THE WORST KFC I have personally ever been too. I gave them a few tries, but every time its something new. This time when using drive around: 1. No Fork/Spoon, 2. No Napkins, 3. Had to ask for sauce for something that requires sauce aka chicken nuggets, 4. Total wasn't given to me until my card was swiped, 5. The woman shuts the window and never tells you when she is finished giving you your food (ordering for a lot of people, so multiple bags). 6.
